The beauti ful villages of Ghalegaun and Ghanpokhara lie to the Northwest of Khudi at the top of the nearby hills. They are situated at an altitude of 2016 metres and 2050 metres respectively. Ghalegaun and Ghanpokhara are mainly Gurung settlements nestled amidst mountains, rivers, streams, waterfalls and green forests.
The view from the villages stretches from Buddha himal, himalchuli and Manaslu to the northeast Mt. Lamjung and Annapurna II to the north and Mt. Machhapucchre and Annapurna South to the Northwest. The approach to Ghalegaun-Ghanpokhara is a wonderful experience; the mists of the early mornings, the beautiful Khudi and Midim rivers; beautiful rhododendrons; chirping sound of the birds simply takes one to the far away place and completely with the nature. The trekking route passes through the dense forests, villages and awesome waterfalls.

Day 01 :- Arrive in Kathmandu, Overnight in hotel (A)
Day 02 :- Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley (Kathmandu & Patan) (A, B)
Day 03 :- Drive by Bus to trailhead Bensisahar (760m) - Khudi (790m) (A, B, L, D)
Day 04 :- Khudi - Ghalegaun (A, B, L, D)
Day 05 :- Ghalegaun exploration day (A, B, L, D)
Day 06 :- Ghalegaun - Baghungpani (1595) (A, B, L, D)
Day 07 :- Baglungpani (1595m) - laxmi Bazar (A, B, L, D)
Day 08 :- Baglungpani (1595m) - laxmi Bazar (A, B, L, D)
Day 09 :- Laxmi Bazar - Begnas Lake & drive back to Pokhara (A, B, L)
Day 10 :- Rest in Pokhara and Sightseeing (A, B, L)
Day 11 :- Pokhara to Kathmandu by bus (A, B, L)
Day 12 :- Rest and shopping in Kathmandu (A, B)
Day 13 :- Departure to the airport for your onward destination (B) |
