The Himalaya, the world's highest mountain range, stretches in a crescent over 3,000 km long from Afghanistan to Burma. All fourteen of the world's highest peaks are in the Himalaya and eight are in Nepal. Despite much recent modernisation, there are still very few roads in Nepal and the only way to travel is on foot or horseback. The difficulty of communication means some areas are virtually untouched by modern influences and life is still lived as it was centuries ago.

We can arrange camping or tea house trekking & tours as per your interest and suggestions are given for the Annapurna, Langtang and Everest regions. We can also arrange climbing trips on the 33 'trekking peaks' for which snow and ice experience is essential. With flights between Kathmandu and Lhasa, Nepal is the gateway to Tibet. You can return to Kathmandu overland, visiting important Tibetan cultural sites en route (8 days) or extend the trip to Everest base camp (12 - 14 days).
