Mt. Kangtega Expedition (6799 m.) Climbing in Nepal
Nepal is a Himalayan country where hundreds of Peaks do welcome for those people who wants to adventure. Mt. Kangtega is one of the famous peak which lies on the center north of Nepal at the bottom of the Kangtega Ice-Fall, which resembles with the in famous Khumbu Ice Fall of Mt. Everest.
Our approach to this mountain is from the south side over the Tsetrawala pass and then through the Hinku glacier. We take about a week to reach the Kangtega base camp. The
Summit offers great mountain views and the valley surrounding. Our Climbing Sherpa /sardar will manage to carry food, fuel, equipments and fix the rope.
Suggested itinerary: 34 Days
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu. valley sightseeing and prepare for climbing equiption
Day 03: Official preparation day in Kathmandu
Day 04: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding.
Day 05: Trek to Namche Bazaar
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Khumjung for acclimatization
Day 07: Trek to Kangtega BC.
Day 08-26: Kantega Climbing period.
Day 29: Kantega base camp to Khumjung
Day 30: Khumjung to Monjo
Day 31: Monjo to Lukla
Day 32: Lukla by flight back to kathmandu
Day 33: Kathmandu valley sightseeing and farewell diner
Day 34: Back to onward destination
