A most popu lar mountain lies accross the kalapattar in Khumbu valley in Nepal. Expedition Pumori is the most popular mountain for those who would like to climb 7000m peaks around the himalaya. We arrange both the logistic support and guided climbing for Pumori expedition. Climbing Pumori requires a moderate technical climb on ice and snow. The normal route for the climbing is South East Ridge .
For Pumori expedition the Base camp will be set up at 5300m. We climb through the glaciers for approx. 4 hours and reach Camp 1 at 5700m. From Camp 1, then climb 480m. on the face with 40-60 degrees slope and pass through a snow wall to reach camp 2 at 6200m. on a narrow ridge. From camp 2, we climb approx. 450m. through ice with 30-60 degrees slopes passing through ice walls and crevasses. This section is prone to avalanches from big seracs hanging on the shoulder above. Camp 3 will be set up at an altitude of 6480m. on the ridge. Passing through crevasses, we climb up to Pumori cliff and then to the summit. For many mountaineers Pumori is the peak to check their technical skills and their feelings of climbing Himalayas in Nepal to prepare for 8000 meter peaks of Nepal for the future climbing.

Day 04 : Fly to Lukla. Trek to Phakding.
Day 05 : Trek to Namche.
Day 06 : Rest at Namche.
Day 07 : trek to Tengboche.
Day 08 : Trek to Pheriche.
Day 09 : Trek to Lobuche.
Day 10 : Trek to Pumori base camp.
Day 11-28 : Climbing period.
Day 29: Retrace to Lobuche
Day 30: Trek to Pangboche
Day 31: Trek to Namche
Day 32: Trek to Lukla
Day 33: Fly to Kathmandu
Day 34: Free day in Kathmandu

Notes: If the expedition will be finished earlier than the estimated itinerary or cancelled the expedition due to any reason, the expedition package cost will not be refundable. Incase if some of the member are fallen sick during the expedition period and return to Kathmandu personally, they should accept all of the travel expenses to Kathmandu by them self.
Member are allowed to carry only up to 40KG climbing gears and food along with them and the rest which includes in the package cost. But if the members climbing gears are more than 40 kg than they should pay extra US$ 200.00 for per yak. |
