Lantang Panch Pokhari Trekking [ A pilgrimage trekking ]
The Panch Pokhari trek, which means five lakes, is situated to the north of Shivapuri village. This area is in the Lantang National Park and contains a surprising amount of forests and wildlife. From this area you can gain really good views Jugal Himal which is popularly known as “the chain of peaks” including Dorge Lakpa (6966m), Madiya (6257m) and Phurbi Chhyachu (6637m). Panch pokhari trekking offers an ideal and interesting journey which gives the experience of lifetime. Panch Pokhari is a religious place for Hindus where the trekkers can see a sheet metal enclosed shrine to Shiva and the two metal roofed houses. A trek in this area involves a lot of climbing on narrow trails.

Day 01: Receive you in the in Kathmandu airport then transfer to your hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Chautaara (1410m) overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 04: Chautaara to Syaule overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 05: Syaula to Kamikharka Dhanda overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 06: Kamikharka Danda to Chyochyo Danda overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 07: Chyochyo Danda to Hile Bhanjyang (3800m) overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 08: Hile Bhanjyang to Nasem pati (3800m) overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 09: Nasem Pati to Panch Pokhari (4050m) overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 10: Panch Pokhari to Gai Lharka (2530m) overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 11: Gai Kharka to Yangri (1360m) overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 12: Yangri to Laghang Gompa (2800m) overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 13: Laghang Gompa to Tarke Gyang (2590m) overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 14: Tarke Gyang to Shermathang (2610m) overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 15: Sermathang to Malemchipui Bazaar (880m) overnight in Camp. (B.L.D)
Day 16: Melamchipul Bazaar to Kathmandu. Oernight at Hotel in Kathmandu. (B.L.D)
Day 17: Fly to your own destination
Alternative optional itinerary :
Day 01 : Arrivl in kathamndu international airport then transfer to hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu valley sightseeing such as Swayambhunath stupa, Boudhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Old Kathmandu durbar square.
Day 03 : Kathmandu – Chautara- Aam Pipal Height : 1418m : Drive 4 hrs to Chautara along the Araniko highway road to Tibet and after Dulal Ghat drive to north to Chautara and trek 2 hrs to AamPipal. Over night at camp.
Day 04 : Aam Pipal - Okhren Height : 2052m
Day 05 : Okhreni- Bhadramali Danda Height : 3162m
Day 06 : Bhadramali Danda - Panikuwa Height : 3800m
Day 07 : Panikuwa- Nasem Pati Height : 3862m
Day 08 : Nasem Pati-Panch Pokhari Height : 4462m
Day 09 : Panch Pokhari Height : 4462 m.: Gokyo Treks team staff fixed the camp on the near the lake. You may hike around panch Pokhari Lake (Five holy lakes around). There is two mettle –roofed huts, a sheet metal-enclosed shrine to Shiva and a pile of cast-iron and copper tridents. During the July/September at the Janaipurnima (Full moon day) thousands of Nepalese come to worship. From here if some body want really adventure cross the Langsisa pass and come out to Lang tang valley.
Day 10 : Panch Pokhari- Hutanbrang. Height : 2200m
Day 11 : Hutanbrang- Yangri Height : 1500m
Day 12 : Yangri- Gangkharka Height : 1788
Day 13 : Gangkharka - Tarkheghyang Height : 2560m
Day 14 : Tarkheghyang - Tharepati pass or towards Kathmandu. Height : 3597m
Day 15 : Tharepati pass – Kutumsang Height : 2470m
Day 16 : Kutumsang-Chissapani Height : 2190m
Day 17 : Chisapani – Sundarijal - Kathmandu Height : 1300m: A short trek 3 hrs and drive 1½will bring you to Kathmandu
