Timal Trekking is one of the famous trekking destination of Nepal lies on a non-tourist area and less crowded, but a very splendid one. This Trekking takes you to Thulo Sailung (3100 m), its highest elevation, fro m where you will see a vast Himalayan range from Makalu to Dhaulagiri . In additional on this trip is only trek from where you will have a glimpse of Tarai - the lowland of Nepal as well as the world's highest - Mt. Everest (8848 m). While trekking in this area, we walk high up on spectacular ridges in an area inhabited by Tamangs - an indigenous Buddhists community whose religion is a fusion of Buddhist Lamaism and the Shamanist Bon culture. It is common for a village to have a Lama and a Jhankri (Shaman). Except Tamang, you will have encountered with different ethnic people and experience about socio-economic situation, life-style, and their professions. Moreover, the main attraction of this area is, it gives a wide range of exploration to the trekkers. This is start from the Dolalghat and end on the beautiful popular village Namobuddha through the Timal danda. This trek is special for the Mixed culture Hinduism and Buddhism. Have in mind there are no lodges during the trail. |

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu International airport. Then transfer to your hotel. At the evening, tour / trek briefing..( A.)
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing with professional licence holder tour guide. .(B, A.)
Day 03: Drive to Phalate Danda .(B, L, D, A.)
Day 04: Phalate Danda to Vimsen Than .(B, L, D, A.)
Day 05: Vimsen Than to Bholung Village .(B, L, D, A.)
Day 06: Acclimatization day in Bholung ( Excursion Bholung village & Pahari culture).(B, L, D, A.)
Day 07: Bholung village to Chapkhore .(B, L, D, A.)
Day 08: Chapkhore to Kottimal .(B, L, D, A.)
Day 09: Kottimal to Namobuddha O/N Camp. .(B, L, D, A.)
Day 10: Namobuddha to Walk to Panauti and take Transfer to Kathmandu .(B, L, A.)
Day11: Free Day in Kathmandu (shopping) (A, B. )
Day 12: Depart to the Kathmandu airprot for your onward destination.( B. ) |
