Cholatse Peak climbing is very excited and challenging trekking peak in Nepal and it is very interesting peak as well. Cholatse peak (6440m) also known as Jobo Lhaptshan is located in at the Khumbu Himalayan Region. Cholatse peak is connected to Taboche (6,501m) by a long ridge. Cholatse Peak is very hard to climb than other peak in Nepal. Only few climbers scaled this peak. Climbers need a vast mountaineering ability to climb this peak.
The Chola glacier descends off the east face. The north and east faces of Cholatse can be seen from Dughla, on the classical trail to Mount Everest base camp. Cholatse Peak was first climbed via the southwest ridge on April 22, 1982 by Vern Clevenger, Galen Rowell, John Rowell and Bill O'Connor. The north face was successfully scaled in 1984. Suggested Itinerary: 22 Days
Day 1 Arrival in kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2 Full day sightseeing in akathmandu valley as per their request. Transfer to hotel planet.
Day 3 After Breakfast sightseeing around Bkapktapur durbar square and Changu Narayan on your request.
Day 4 Early morning, Fly to Lukla (2800m). Trek to Benkar (2645m).
Day 5 Trek to Namche Bazar.
Day 6 Rest and Acclimatization in Namche Bazar.
Day 7 Trek to Khumjung .
Day 8 Trek to Dole(4200m).
Day 9 Trek to Macchermo(4410m).
Day 10 Trek to Gokyo Lake.(4750m).
Day 11 Trek to Gokyo Ri and trek to Tangan(4750m).
Day 12 Trek to Cholatse Base Camp (5,151m). Day 13-17 Climbing Period.
Day 18 Cleaning up Base Camp and Trek back to Dole.
Day 19 Trek back to Khumjung.
Day 20 Trek back to Phakding.
Day 21 Trek back to Lukla.
Day 22 Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
