Mt. Machhermo is one of the most beautiful mountain lies on the way to Gokyo lake. Situated at Mahalangur region, the Peak has not been opened long time for Mountaineers. This is one of the most interesting peak climbing among the trekking Peaks in Nepal. It is categorized in the grade-A by Nepal Mountaineering Association. To reach the base camp, the trail leads through Yak pasture, on the way of Gokyo Trek. The base camp is set up above the rocky meadows and moraine around 5140 meter. Further climb asscends on the rock and snow slopes to reach the top. The same path decends to base camp. From the summit of this Peak provides stunning views of Amadablam, Lhotse Shar, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest. Please find the itinerary below.
Suggested Itinerary: 22 Days
Day 1 Arrival in kathmandu, move to Hotel.
Day 2 One full day sightseeing in Kathmandu and patan city with guide. then transfer to hotel Monnlight.
Day 3 Fly from kathmandu to Lukla(2800m). Trek to Phakding(2645m).
Day 4 Trek to Namche Bazar.
Day 5 Rest and Acclimatization in Namche Bazar.
Day 6 Trek to Khumjung .
Day 7 Trek to Dole(4200m).
Day 8 Trek to Macchermo(4410m).
Day 9Â Trek to Gokyo Lake.(4750m).
Day 10 Trek to Gokyo Ri and trek to Tangan(4750m).
Day 11 Trek to Cholatse Base Camp (5,151m). Day 12- 16 Climbing Period.
Day 17 Cleaning up Base Camp and Trek back to Dole.
Day 18 Trek back to Khumjung.
Day 19 Trek back to Phakding.
Day 20 Trek back to Lukla.
Day 21 Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
Day 22 Drop to The kathmandu international airport for your onward destination.
