Best time for a hike to ABC.

The best time to hike to ABC in Nepal is during the spring season (March to May) and autumn season (September to November). However, as you trek in March-April and May, the flowers and trees are in bloom, and the landscape is lush and green.

During these seasons, the weather is generally dry and stable, with clear skies and good visibility, making it ideal for hiking and trekking. The temperatures are also moderate, with warm days and cool nights, which makes for comfortable hiking conditions.

In contrast, the monsoon season (June to August) can bring heavy rain, landslides, and leeches on the trails, which can make hiking difficult and even dangerous. The winter season (December to February) brings cold temperatures, snowfall, and icy trails, which can also be challenging for hikers.

Therefore, if you are planning to hike to ABC in Nepal, it is recommended to choose the spring or autumn season for the best weather conditions and optimal hiking experience.

Local politics, landslides, cancellation of local flights, weather, transport, or a multitude of other factors that are beyond our control can result in a change of schedule during on voyage.

It is, however, very incredible that the itinerary would be extensively altered. If alterations are necessary the leader will decide the best alternative option, taking into consideration the best interests of the whole group. When a change does occur, we do everything we can to minimize its effect, but we cannot be responsible for the results of changes or delays.

My husband and I trekked to the amazing Annapurna Base Camp in October 2016 with Umesh our guide hired through Gokyo Treks and Expedition. Ammar organized everything for us with perfection. We stayed at Ammar’s home after arriving in Kathmandu. What a nice welcoming. We felt like family.

We had an amazing time with our Tour guide Umesh who has almost 20 years of experience trekking all over the Himalayas in Nepal. We had such an amazing trip. Pictures can not give back the natural beauty of the Himalayas.

It was amazing to be in nature far away from civilization. The trekking was hard but it was well worth the effort when we reached the amazing Annapurna Base camp. All the villages had simple tea houses and plentiful food options. I can not recommend enough Goyko Treks and Expeditions.

Trip of the lifetime !! Thank you very much, Ammar and Umesh for the amazing experience
