Amazing EBC Trek with Gokyo Treks review

100% 5 star based on – 245 Based on TripAdvisor Reviews

Me and my daughter (13) planned for Everest Base Camp in May 2018 and approached Ammar Guni for arranging end to end details. It was an amazing experience with Gokyo team.

Our guide Som Shreshtha was THE best guide you could get for such trek – especially when a teenager is with you. We were doing such high-altitude trek for the first time and it was a great experience and learning for both of us.

Our flights to & fro from Lukla-Kathmandu got canceled due to bad weather and we had to ride choppers. Other than that, everything went according to plan and we, as first-timers, could enjoy and complete the trek within 10 days (shortest duration). I can write a lot about EBC trek but this is meant to highlight the great support provided by Ammar and his team from Day 1 since our landing at Kathmandu.

I will recommend all the EBC aspirants to check with Gokyo treks as an option for their planning. Thank you Ammar, Som and the entire team of Gokyo Treks.- Yogesh Deshpande, Pune, India.

This was the 2nd time we trekked with Gokyo Treks and Expendition. It was overall another fabulous trek and experience. The scenery was wonderful and we were pleased with the trip. The fee charged were comparatively lower compared to other agencies while Ammar, the boss, was doing a wonderful service back to the community by committing part of the company’s earning to fund education of orphans, victims from the past earthquake. We were touched by his effort and commitment to give back to the society in helping the needy. Keep up the good work and we look forward to our next trek with Gokyo. – Darren H, Singapore.
