Yala Peak Climbing is situated at 5732 meters, Nepal’s easier trekking peaks, just to the north of Kathmandu in the beautiful Langtang valley region.
Yala peak trekking and climbing offers an excellent view of the Ganesh Himal family, Langshisha Ri, Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Lirung, Yala peak, Naya Kanga peak, Shishapangma etc with Tamang culture and beautiful landscapes.
Climbing Yala Peak enables you to explore through the Langtang National Park home of the Tibetan looking, people, the Tamangs. The trip commences from here to the farmland, villages, and forest of Rhododendron, conifer, bamboos, oaks, and pines.
In the spring season, the forest looks enchanting with flowers all around. Furthermore passing fascinating scenery, we follow the narrow gorge of Langtang River until we ascend to the large alpine grassland of Kyangin Gompa where the glacier meets the meadow.
You can see Yaks grazing around with the backdrops of snowy peaks of Langtang Ri, Langtang Lirung, Dorjee Lakpa and many other unnamed mountains around you. Adventure Yala peak excursion and climbing can be done in any time (except winter) throughout the year.

The particular route is designed for world travelers who wish to hike to the high passes mountain but are with restricted in time-wise than let us know your own travel itinerary. But for travelers who wish to this trekking and climbing with a more relaxed manner than try this itinerary however if this itinerary is not ft you than send us an inquiry for tailor-made itinerary.
Day 01 Arrived at Kathmandu valleyUpon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, we will receive you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu within B/B plan. Our representative will give you information about further programs.
After breakfast the day will start to our guided trip to cultural world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley; including visits to the pilgrimage sites of Hindus Pashupatinath temple, the world biggest Bouddhanath Stupa, visit Swoyambhunath Stupa also known as monkey temple and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with temple, unique architectures and Kumari (living goddess) in central Kathmandu. At evening introduce with our fellow trekking staff for your adventure trek briefing.
At morning we’ll drive on a northern highway that twists and climbs over mountain ridges to the Trishuil valley for lunch and on to Syabru village for the overnight. Now the road way is fully black topped. The amazing bus drive takes maximum 7 hrs through picturesque landscapes, mountain scenery and local villages.
After breakfast, trek ascends through the forest followed by a climb to reach Bamboo village (1,850m/6,068ft) where we’ll stop for lunch. This forested path with well-stabilized trails and following the upstream and can be seen birds life around the bushes. Beehives hanging on a cliff are another attraction for the visitors. From here we’ll again steeply climb through the bamboo forest to reach the Lama Hotel where we’ll stay overnight.
From Lama Hotel, the trail leads through a forest of hemlock, oaks, maples and rhododendron observing glimpses of Langtang Lirung, reaches to Gumanchok (2800m) and then climbs to Ghora Tabela (2970m) after which it descends to Thangshyap (3140m). The trail goes further climbs to Langtang village. On the way, there is an entrance checkpoint where entrance fees are collecting by Military. This is also known as the headquarter for Langtang National Park. stay overnight in Langtang Valley.
From Langtang Valley the trail climbs gradually to Sindum and to Yamphu (3640m). Crossing the Laja Khola then climbs a moraine to a viewpoint where you can see Kyanjin Gompa and the dramatic icefall flowing from Langtang Lirung and Kinshung. Then the trail descends to Kyanjin Gompa. Stay overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.
Explore around the Langtang Lirung glacier and dry Himalayan Yak pasture. We climb to Tserko ri hills if the weather is clear, from here you can see the stunning mountain views like as Langtang Lirung, Ganjala Chuli, Yala peak Dorje Lakpa and many more…back to stay overnight in the hotel.
Today, we walk to reach Yala base camp, set up for campsite to stay overnight. If you have than our expert climbing guide will give you instruction how to use climbing gears and reach at summit.
Day 10: Reserve day for contingency in case of bad weather
There is no guarantee that we can get quite a favorable weather on our planned day for the summit, so this day is used as a contingency in case if we are unable to submit the Lobuche due to bad weather condition or some other reasons. If the weather gets exceptionally unfavorable we wisely have to postpone the program reach summit. Sometimes somebody in the group may get some problems in acclimatizing well enough to make the ascent; the day can be used in that condition too. If the trip goes smoothly, we do not need this spare day.
From base camp descend to Ghoda Tabala passing Kyangjin and langtang villages, following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghora Tabela where we could stay overnight.
The upper part trek route is more beautiful for the panoramic view of mountains and green hill views. This path is broader and remains sunny through the different Sherpa and Tamang villages. The first half part of the trail is gradually down and then the trail does steeply descent to the Syabru Besi (1,600m.). There was running a project called Chilime Power Plant.
Drive back to Kathmandu by bus which takes about 7 hours to get kathmandu.

In this price, we offer you Tourist Standard accommodation at our homestay located nearby Thamel and of course, the trip price will vary according to group size. For the deluxe and luxury trekking tour plan, we add 3-star category hotel deluxe air-conditioned room in Kathmandu (BB PLAN) and Tourist standard accommodation with attached bathroom while on trekking on possible places, so let us know. Question: Do I need experience for Yala peak climbing trek?
Answer: Actually Yala peak trek trip is suitable for experienced trekkers who can walk roughly about 4 or 5 hours in a day, with a lightweight daypack because as you are going to climbing, you need to have experience in high altitude – somehow about 3000 meters above sea level.
Question: What kind of accommodation can I expect on Yala peak climbing?Answer: We provide you tourist standard accommodation in Kathmandu and during the trekking normal but the rooms are clean cozy bed with nice mattress and blankets. However we recommend you to take your own sleeping bags if you have one with you otherwise, you may rent it while you are in Kathmandu.
Question: What kind of food can I expect in Yala peak climbing?Answer: All the guest houses along the Langtang trek routes they have attached restaurant and they cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian such as Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, fresh vegetables (variety depends on the season)
The dinner and breakfast are provided in the same lodge you spend the night every day and Lunch will be provided on the way to the next place where you are going. However, for climbing days you will have climbing food hot drinks.
Answer: Guest house trekking all the lodges they have a shower which you can get it on pay.
Question: How do I get drinking water on Yala peak climbing?Answer: During the trekking route there are all places hotel and shops where you can able to buy mineral water and you can buy it for drinking but however we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles, as currently there are no provisions for disposing of these. We recommend you to bring chlorine tablets to purify the normal water as the normal water is available at the campsite along the way.
Question: Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip?Answer: During the guest house trekking there will be chances to charge the battery on pay. We recommend you bring an extra pair for in case. Remember to bring your adapters! And we recommend you to take extra batteries along with you.
Question: Is there any communication facilities on Yala peak climbing?Answer: In this trekking route you can get telephone services as well as internet services.
Question: Can I use credit cards in Trekking?Answer: No! So, for the trekking routes, you need to have cash Nepali rupees because credit cards work only in the bigger cities or in luxury hotels.
Question: When should I book my trip and what is the payments terms?Answer: Because our trips book up months in advance, we recommend booking early to avoid any kind of misunderstanding. We will, of course, make every effort to accommodate last minute bookings.
And regarding the deposit, we prefer 20 % advance deposit of the total price of the trip in order to confirm your reservation before you arrive in Nepal. And the rest of the payment can be made after your arrival in Kathmandu.
Answer: We provide porters to transfer your luggage. As we are a responsible trekking tour operator agency, our every porter carry maximum 25 kilos of your backpack which means 2 guests (12.5 kg luggage of each guest): 1 porter basis.
Question: Is it possible to rent a guide? how to hire a local trek guide?
Answer: Yes of course. If you are not happy to go with the complete full board package trip, still you can hire our expert guide to make your holiday tour safer. However, visit a guide and porter hire or email us for your detail travel inquiry.
Question: How much distance do I walk each day?Answer: When walking/trekking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to a gradient, terrain, and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however, you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.
Question: Do I need walking polls for Yala peak climbing?Answer: Walking pools are recommended but not compulsory.
Question: Where can I organize my person climbing gears?Answer: If you have those climbing gears at your home then bring them along with you. If you don’t have them then you can rent it in Kathmandu.
Question: How much additional money do I need per day?Answer: You can allocate US$ 08 – 10 for a lunch/dinner in Kathmandu and it depends on your spending habits. US$ 7 to 10 US$ each day will be enough to buy bottles of water, chocolates, tea coffee and some drinks while you are on trek.
