Annapurna Base Camp Trek a classical route of 12 days trek itinerary compared to most walks in this region leading up to the base camp. However For travelers who wish to reach the Annapurna base camp in a more relaxed manner than take a look at this itinerary.Day 1 Arrived at Kathmandu valley
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, we will receive you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu within B/B plan. Our representative will give you briefing about abc trek.
Scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara city. During the tourist bus journey, you will have beautiful landscapes on the way. If you are driving to Pokhara by Tourist bus/car, It takes around 7 hours however if you wish to fly paying (an extra airfare USD 75 each person) it takes only 25 minutes. In the afternoon you will be with your trekking Guide to Observe the Natural Beautiful Fewa lake of Pokhara.
After having breakfast at hotel we start our driving to Nayapul which takes approximately one and half hours. Then we conducts our journey to Tikhedhunga Via Birethanti (1065m.). It is easy trekking passing through several small villages and settlements. Afterwards we ascend gently to the final destination of the day. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Today, we ascend steeply for the first 2 hours and then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti. During the journey, you will see good view of Machhapuchhare known as mount Fish Tail (6997m.), mount Hiunchuli (6441m.) and as well as Annapurna (7219m) south. Now, our trail is quite easier passing through Rhododendron and shadowy trees and ascends gently up to the final camp at Ghorepani village. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Today very early in the morning, we hike together to Poon Hill to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snow-capped mountains in the morning then Hike down to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast at Lodge and trek to Tadapani (2650 m.). Most part of the trail we trek through Rhododendron forest, the beautiful flower makes the jungle colorful in spring when they bloom. Overnight at Guesthouse.
It is very easy trek by descending gently all the way through Rhododendron, oak and other kinds of dense forests. We will hear different kinds of birds chirping on the way to Kimrung Khola. Than ascend immediately steeply and walk at a level for 50 minutes and gently steeps and flat to Chomrong which is the only one gateway to reach Annapurna Base Camp. Some people spell as a ABC trekking.
Today, we will our first step with stone step to the river Chomrong, cross the river and hike to Sinuwa village where, there are few lodges. Walking with dense forest to bamboo place. Where there are some lodges and guest house too. On the way, we will see the wildlife like wild boar, monkey, rhesus and other wild birds including Danphe pheasant. Then arrival at Himalayan hotel where we stay overnight.
Today, we start to go over Deurali viewpoint and then walk further to MBC. There are two different trails ahead of us; we follow the best way according to the season to Bagar and to MBC. These areas are the most possibility for avalanches and always be careful during the journey. You should have good information from your experienced guide who is organizing by Gokyo Treks & Expedition, before you start your journey to MBC. Take it seriously because there are already a lot of people who lost their lives here from viewpoint to Bagar. After Bagar, you are safe.
After sunny breakfast, walk all the way uphill to the ABC (4095m). The trail follows the left-hand tributary of the Modi khola. You can see the sunrise with a natural Panoramic spectacular view from the viewpoint of ABC. From here we can see Annapurna 1st, Annapurna south, Barah Shikhar, Tent peak, Machapuchhare Hiunchuli and many more snow capped mountains as well as glacier. Having breakfast in ABC, just descend down to Machapuchhare base camp. We meet the crew and take all stuff descend down to Dovan passing several green valley and villages. Stay overnight at Dovan
The trail descends to Jhinu Danda leads through bamboo and Rhododendron forest with superb mountain views from Sinuwa village. Have in mind, the trail from Dovan to Bamboo is most subject to avalanches also. Then trail leads down and up to stone steps to Chhomrung village. And then descend down to Jhinu Danda where we can enjoy with natural hot spring located on the Modi River banks. Stay overnight at Jhinu danda
After breakfast you will head downhill through bamboo bushes. You will then cross a suspension bridge leading you to a water mill. From there, the trail follows along the river bank to Himalpani. Still following the river and climbing uphill, you will arrive in the village of Landruk. It is home to the Gurung (a kind of Ethnic groups of Nepal) people. You can stop for a lunch break and head on through the valley. It is a beautiful stroll along the horizon. The next stop is Tolka, located on a hillside with fine mountain views. Here, you will spend the night. Stay overnight at Tolka village
The trek begins downhill and offers views of the Annapurna mountain range. You will pass more Gurung villages allowing you to see the huge farming communities in which they live in. During the walking, you will arrive in Deurali pass located at an altitude of 2,500m / 8,175 ft where you can experience an almost best view of Annapurna massive with beautiful Pokhara city. Then you descend down hill walking to reach Gurung village Pothana than having lunch there, you will descend again downhill to get Dhampus village. Dhampus is a very pleasant village to spend the night in. O/N at Lodge with full board basis.
From Dhampus hill, you walk through the rice terraces and small Gurung cottages to get foot hill which we use to call Dhampus Phedi. When we reach at Phedi than we take a private taxi/car to reach your hotel in Fewa lakeside Pokhara. It is popular for its ambient lakeside and fine views of the Annapurna. The rest of the time, you can relax sitting on the bank of Fewa lake or shopping or whatever.
Morning we’ll drive back through the scenic countryside and during the route will stop for breakfast & lunch. It takes 7 hours back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu guide will transfer to the hotel and rest of the day relax or explore the surrounding areas and overnight at hotel.

Answer: Actually Not ! But it is suitable for keen trekkers/walkers who are able to walk around 4 or 5 hours in a day, with a lightweight daypack. For this trekking, if you have about the little experience would be better.Question: What kind of accommodation can I expect on Annapurna Base Camp Trek?
Answer: We provide you tourist standard accommodation in Kathmandu and during the trekking routes. the rooms along the routes are clean with a cozy bed with nice mattress and blankets. However we recommend you to take your own sleeping bags if you have one with you otherwise, you may rent it while you are in Kathmandu.Question: What kind of food can I expect in this trek?
Answer: All the guest houses/lodges in Annapurna Base Camp Trek, they have attached restaurant and they cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian such as Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, fresh vegetables (variety depends on the season)
The dinner and breakfast are provided in the same lodge you spend the night every day and Lunch will be provided on the way to the next place where you are going.
Answer: All the guest houses along the trekking routes they provide shower, so no worries.Question: How do I get drinking water on abc Trekking?
Answer: During the trekking route there are all places hotel and shops where you can able to buy mineral water and you can buy it for drinking but however we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles, as currently there are no provisions for disposing of these. Instead, we provide you boiled water or bringing chlorine tablets to purify the normal water as the normal water is available in campsite/along the way.Question: Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip?
Answer: On lodge trekking, there will be more chances to charge the battery. We recommend you bring an extra pair for in case. Remember to bring your adapters! An extra battery will be recommended.Question: Is there any communication facilities on lodge Annapurna base camp Trekking?
Answer: In this trekking route you can get telephone services as well as internet services as well.Question: Can I use credit cards in Trekking?
Answer: Not yet! So, for the trekking routes, you need to have cash Nepali rupees because credit cards work only in the bigger city areas.Question: When should I book my trip and what is the payments terms?
Answer: Because our trips book up months in advance, we recommend booking early to avoid any kind of misunderstanding. We will, of course, make every effort to accommodate last minute bookings.
And regarding the deposit, we prefer 20 % advance deposit of the total price of the trip in order to confirm your reservation before you arrive in Nepal. And the rest of the payment can be made after your arrival in Nepal.

Answer: When walking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to a gradient, terrain, and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however, you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.Question: Do I need walking polls?
Answer: Walking pools are recommended but not compulsory.Question: How much additional money do I need per day?
Answer: You can allocate US$ 08 – 10 for a lunch/dinner in Kathmandu and it depends on your spending habits. US$ 7 to 10 US$ each day will be enough to buy bottles of water, chocolates, tea coffee and some drinks while you are on trek.
