Pikey peak trekking

Pikey Trek passes through some of the most beautiful tiny Sherpa settlements of lower Everest region.
Moreover Pikey peak name is derived after the name of Sherpa clan deity. It is a good time to take a trip to Pikey during the month of July; local people hold celebrations to worship their clan god, the eastern Chyabo Pikey, as Pikey Hlapchen Karbu.

Other interesting possibilities what you can do here is paragliding, mountain biking, bird watching, pilgrimage, and meditation but the best of this trek is to observe sunrise and sunset views.

Furthermore, on your last hill station, you will have a brilliant Himalayan range of Mt. Everest, Makalu, and Rolwanling. Along the Pikey Peak Trek, you can walk at your own pace, with plenty of stops for rest.

Phaplu to pikey peak or jiri to pikey peak trek review

Great company, GHT Trail experience with flexible guide!

100% 5 star based on – 218 Based on TripAdvisor Reviews

We booked our trek to Pikey peak trekking with Ammar at Gokyo Treks and Expedition.
He booked our Phaplu flights, organised our trekking permits, and guide. He also advised us how much we would need to spend each day whilst trekking. Whilst we were booking our trek with Ammar we met a guide who had just returned from pikey peak who told us what to expect. Ammar kept in touch with us during our trek to see how we were and to check the trek was going well.
I would definitely recommend booking a trek with Gokyo Treks – everything was really well organised and easy, he gave us all the information we needed and the guide he organised was good. I would definitely go on another trek with Gokyo Treks if I visit Nepal again. – Dave Dellimuth, USA.
