Day 1 Arrived at Kathmandu valley. Transfer to hotel

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, we will receive you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu within B/B plan. Our representative will brief you about your trip.

Day 2 World Heritage sites of Kathmandu Sightseeing, 6 hours.

In the morning after breakfast, we start our day trip visiting world heritage sites located in Kathmandu city which includes Boudhanath Stupa (also known as the oldest stupa of Nepal), Pasupatinath temple (holy temple of Hindu where cremation takes place by the holy river Bagmati), Later we visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Syambhunath Stupa. And transfer to hotel.

Day 3 Kathmandu to Chisapani (2,215m / 7,265 ft), 5 hours walking

Chisapani area trekking or tour conducts from Sundarijal Bazaar, where there’s a small dam and a hydroelectricity station in the northeast corner of the Kathmandu valley. The walk leads to a climb through wet, subtropical forest to an oak forest and on to Mulkharka, a scattered Tamang village.
The trail again ascends through oak forest to a pass called Borlung Bhanjyang and walk downhill to get Chisopani village. Chisapani offers fabulous panoramic views of the Jugal mountain range including Langtang, Ganesh in the far east and Manaslu, Annapurna towards far west. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 4 Trek from Chisapani to Kutumasang (2,470 m / 8,101 ft), 6 hours

Trek to kutumasang trail continues to drop from Chisapani on a good, sometimes level trail that crosses meadows and fields. Patibhanjyang is on a saddle at the bottom of the ridge at 1,770m. This is a Brahming and Chhetri village with a few shops and hotels.
The trail heads north out of the Patibhanjyang along the forested ridge and then descends to a large chorten, the Tamang village of Gul Bhanjyang. Besides that, the trail climbs the ridge from Gum Bhanjyang to another pass at 2,620m. From the pass one can look back over Gul Bhanjyang at the bottom. The trail then descends to Kutumasang at 2,470 meters for the overnight stay.

Day 5 Trek to Tharepati (3,510 m / 11,512 ft) hill station, 6 hours

The trail climbs above Kutumasang on a steep, eroded trail, mostly through fir and rhododendron forests where there are no permanent settlements. Furthermore, we ascend to Magen Goth (3,150 m) and finally reach at Tharepati hill. Therepati hill station offers scenic Himalayan view of almost complete Langtang range.

Day 6 Hike to Suryakunda Phedi (3,520 m / 11,546 ft), 6 hours

We hike an easy walking with ups and downs passing through the grassy lands and tiny forest, across flower-strewn meadows and crossing streams. Crossing Ghopte lodges, the trail ascends through the forest, climbing in and out of ravines across the head of the valley, Giant cliff towers far above. There are only two lodges and we choose one of them to stay overnight.

Day 7Hike to cross Lauribina la (4,620m/15,155 ft) hill station. Than Gosaikunda lake(4,300m), 7 hours

A tough day hike ascend all the way up to Suryakunda hill station 4,620m/15,155 ft passing rocky moriane and rough hill walks. The hill station offers excellent views of Rolwaling, Jugal Himal, Gang Chhenpo (6,388m.), Langshisha (6,427 m.) and many other snow capped mountains. Reaching at the top to Suryakunda lakes, then you can gradually descend downhill to Gosaikunda lakes. On your descent, you can pass the rocky mountains moraine trail with several pristine lakes on the left and right side.
According to legend, Gosainkunda was created by Lord Shiva when he pierced a glacier with his trident to obtain water to quench his thirst after having swallowed a poison that threatened to destroy the world. There are exactly 108 different lakes and the names are derived after Lord Shiva. Saraswati kund, Bharab Kunda, Bardha Kunda, Nag Kunda, and Gosain kunda are the main highlights on your travel. Gosaikunda lake is a holy lake where people gather during the month of August to pay homage to God Mahadev (Shiva). There is held a big fair during this time on full moon day.

Day 8Descend downhill to Sing Gompa and to Dhunche (1,950m / 6,377 ft.), 8 hours

The first part of the trail descends, you can see the best view of Langtang Himalayan range includes Himal Chuli (7,893m,) Manaslu (8,156m,) and Ganesh Himal (7,406m.). But after Cholangpati, the trail goes through pine, silver oak and rhododendron forests with marijuana plants up to suspension bridge over the Sing Gompa Stream. From this point, our path goes even through some human settlements and reaches Dhunche bazzar, the headquarters of Rasuwa district.

Day 9Drive back to Kathmandu with same road

After breakfast, catch a coach to to return Kathmandu valley. After reaching in Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel. In the late afternoon, you can stroll around Thamel, the major tourist destination of Kathmandu. You can do some last minute shopping of souvenirs for your family and relatives

Day 10Final departure day

Answer: Helambu Gosaikunda trek is suitable for keen trekkers/walkers who are able to walk around 4 or 5 hours in a day, with a lightweight daypack. For this trekking, if you have about the little experience would be better.

Question: What kind of accommodation can I expect on Helambu Gosaikunda trek lodge?

Answer: We provide you tourist standard accommodation in Kathmandu and during the trekking routes. the rooms along the routes are clean with a cozy bed with a nice mattress and blankets. However we recommend you to take your own sleeping bags if you have one with you otherwise, you may rent it while you are in Kathmandu.

Answer: All the guest houses in Helambu Trek, they have attached restaurant and they cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian such as Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, fresh vegetables (variety depends on the season)
The dinner and breakfast are provided in the same lodge you spend the night every day and Lunch will be provided on the way to the next place where you are going.

Question: What opportunities will I have for a shower along express Helambu Gosaikunda trek?

Answer: Guest house trekking all the lodges they have a shower which you can get it somewhere paying and somewhere without paying however if you are in camping trekking – we provide you hot water bucket then you will take a bucket shower.

Question: How do I get drinking water on express Helambu Gosaikunda Treks?

Answer: Most of all places you can find tea shops or hotels where you can buy mineral water to drink but however we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles, as currently there are no provisions for disposing of these. Instead, we provide you with boiled water or bringing chlorine tablets to purify the normal water as the normal water is available in campsite/along the way.

Question: Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip?

Answer: During the lodge trekking there will be more chances to charge the battery. We recommend you bring an extra pair for in case. Remember to bring your own adapters!

Answer: In this trekking route you can get telephone services as well as internet services as well.

Question: How much distance do I walk each day?

Answer: When walking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to a gradient, terrain, and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however, you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.

Question: Do I need walking polls ?

Answer: Walking pools are recommended but not compulsory.

Question: How much additional money do I need per day?

Answer: You can allocate US$ 08 – 10 for a lunch/dinner in Kathmandu and it depends on your spending habits. US$ 7 to 10 US$ each day will be enough to buy bottles of water, chocolates, tea coffee and some drinks while you are on trek.
