Gokyo Treks Nepal
Nepal Trekking Agency
From 2015 - 2025 contineously
My husband and I trekked to the amazing Annapurna Base Camp in last October with Umesh our guide hired through Gokyo Treks and Expedition. Ammar organized everything for us with perfection. We stayed at Ammar’s home after arriving in Kathmandu. What a nice welcoming. We felt like family.
We had an amazing time with our Tour guide Umesh who has almost 20 years of experience trekking all over the Himalayas in Nepal. We had such an amazing trip. Pictures can not give back the natural beauty of the Himalayas.
It was amazing to be in nature far away from civilization. The trekking was hard but it was well worth the effort when we reached the amazing Annapurna Base camp. All the villages had simple tea houses and plentiful food options. I can not recommend enough Goyko Treks and Expeditions.
Trip of the lifetime !! Thank you very much, Ammar and Umesh for the amazing experience

Watching the most popular trek route videos, we finally decided to visit adventure off the beaten path rupina la trek in Manaslu, Nepal.
Reading the reviews in the internet forum, we choose Gokyo Treks Agency for our 2 weeks trip in Rupina la pass trek starting from the Historical Gorkha palace.
We were 3 tourists from Tirol, me, my wife and a daughter ulli had a great time with our friendly guide Som. Sorry to say that we couldn’t cross over Rupina la due to over snowing in mountains. But we had a great spectacular view near Rupina la summit and Daraudi river valley.
We returned and follow downhill to visit Laprak village and further down at Machhakhola to catch the main trail. We have a great time with Nepali trekkers while we were spending our 2 weeks in Rupina la adventure. Thank you Gokyo Treks for arranging the best hiking crew and made our journey safe. We can’t wait to return for Rupinala again in October 2028. – Frank Schmutzler, Garmisch, Bavaria, Germany.

Thank you Frank for the review. Next time, make a plan at least 2 weeks earlier or until early November so we can cross both passes without any trouble. Stay connected and hoping to serve you again in the near future.
My husband and I trekked the amazing Langtang Gosainkunda to Helambu scenic trek in November with kamal our guide through Gokyo Treks and Expedition. Ammar organized everything for us with perfection. We stayed at Ammar’s home after arriving in Kathmandu. What a nice welcoming.
We had an amazing time with our Trek guide who has almost 12 years of experience trekking all over the Himalayas in Nepal and Tibet. We had such an amazing trip. Pictures can not give back the natural beauty of the Himalayas. It was amazing to be in nature far away from civilization.
The trekking was hard but it was well worth the effort when we reached the amazing Langtang and Lauribina la. All the villages had simple lodges with great varieties of food.
I can not recommend enough Goyko Treks and Expeditions. Trip of the lifetime !! Thank you very much, Ammar and Kamal, for the amazing experience!

Thank you Heiner Uwe for your time to send us your feedback.
I contacted Ammar via email and WhatsApp to prepare for our climbing trip in Nepal. We made Yubra Peak summit climbing in the middle of October with a friendly Guide Nawang Sherpa including Man Bahadur porter. They are professional, easy going and friendly staff to accommodate eveything as per our needs.
Had clear weather, and great mountain scenery, so we had a wonderful trip with the Gokyo Treks Agency team. Many thanks for making our trip excellent and hope to climb another peak in Nepal very soon. – Lizzie Goldsmith, Luzern, Switzerland

Thank you Lizzie for your time to review Yubra peak climbing in the Langtang zone. We hope to see you again for your other 6k mountain climbing in the Himalayas.
We were 4 friends from the Netherlands who found Gokyo Treks Nepal over the internet forum. It’s our second-time visit to Nepal for trekking. We read a lot of good reviews so we wanted to book for the Kanchenjunga base camp trek with Gokyo Treks.
Basically, the Kanchenjunga trek is an off the beaten path trek route in Nepal with a very less tourist. You get an opportunity to explore the true reality of local culture and green vegetation as well as the white snowcapped mountain.
Sele La at 4,480 meters and the Mirgin La at 4,645 meters are difficult passes for us as were not super experienced hikers however we made this trip in three weeks within our timeline. Thanks, Gokyo treks Nepal for your great help to arranging all of our restricted area permits, booking flights, and necessary crew.
