Answer: As a beginner, prior trekking experience is recommended for the Renjo La Pass trek due to its moderate to strenuous nature and high altitude. However, with proper preparation, acclimatization, and guidance from experienced guides, it is possible for beginners to undertake this trek.

Question: Is Renjo La trekking Safe for the Solo Female Trekkers?

Answer: Yes, this Renjo la trek is widely regarded as safe for solo female trekkers. However, as with any trekking adventure, it’s crucial to take precautions and remain aware of your surroundings.

Our team consists of honest and friendly guides who treat every trekker like a family member. We have been organizing treks for solo female travelers since our establishment, ensuring their safety and enjoyment throughout the journey.

A solo trek to Renjo La Pass can make it more challenging to secure a private room, especially during the high season when guest houses are often fully occupied. Traveling with a group of at least two people increases your chances of getting a private room, as most rooms are equipped with two beds.

Question: What kind of Food and lodge accommodation can I expect?.

Answer: At the lodges on the Renjo La Pass trekking route, there are attached restaurants where a professional cook prepares a delicious range of mostly vegetarian meals, including pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, curry rice, bread, soups, and fresh vegetables.

Dinner and breakfast are provided at the lodge where you spend the night, while lunch is served on the way to the next destination.

We also provide tourist-standard, clean accommodation throughout the journey. The rooms along the route are clean, with cozy beds, nice mattresses, and blankets. However, we recommend bringing your own sleeping bag if you have one; otherwise, you can rent one in Kathmandu.

Question: What opportunities will I have for a shower?.

Answer: Opportunities for a shower on the Renjo La Pass trekking route are limited. Most lodges along the trail do not have shower facilities. However, some lodges may offer bucket showers for a fee. It’s advisable to inquire about shower availability at each lodge before booking.

Question: How do I get drinking water on this standard Renjo la pass lodge trek?.

Answer: Along the trek routes, most places offer accommodations in hotels and shops where tourists can purchase bottled mineral water. However, we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles due to the lack of proper waste disposal facilities in the Himalayas.

Instead, we recommend purchasing water purification tablets from a pharmacy in Kathmandu before your trek. You can find fresh water from taps, streams along the journey, or at your campsite.

Question: Can I charge my mobile phone or digital camera on Renjo la trip?

Answer: Yes, you can charge your mobile phone or digital camera during the Renjo La trip. Most lodges along the trekking route have charging facilities, either through electricity or solar power. Answer: Everest Link, established in 2014, is an internet service provider offering high-speed internet and Wi-Fi in the Everest Region. As the sole provider along the Renjo La trail, it boasts the world’s highest internet service.

For those wanting to stay connected with reliable Wi-Fi for communication or business purposes, we recommend purchasing Everest Link internet. You can easily buy an Everest Link card at shops, hotels, or small lodges in the Everest zone.

Question: Can I use credit cards in Trekking?.

Answer: While some lodges and shops in the Everest region may accept credit cards, it’s advisable to carry enough cash (Nepalese Rupees) for your trek, as credit card acceptance can be limited and unreliable.

Question: When should I book my trip and what are the payments terms?.

Answer: We recommend booking early to avoid any misunderstandings. While we will make every effort to accommodate last-minute bookings, it is advisable to secure your reservation in advance.

Trekking Gokyo, Gokyo Ri and Renjola Pass

April 21, 2015

Thanks to the excellent services of Ammar Gunni and our friendly and helpful Porter-Guide Tej Regmi we had an unforgettable experience of the high Himalayas.

We had the liberty of changing and adapting our program according to the weather conditions and our progress.

We encountered a problem at the closing of Lukla airport, and had to buy additional tickets not to be stuck there for 48 hours (24 only:-). The team of Ammar helped us get our money back from the airline Goma Air who were not cooperative and tried to deny our refund,… but in the end, it was solved.
