Trekking permits and their fees for trek in Nepal!
Trekking permits are essential for all regions trekking in Nepal Himalayas. Most of the areas in Nepal are categorized as below. If you want to trek two areas, you will need two permits or have to pay an entry fee twice. Each permit requires details for the route and region.
There were massive changes in permit cost in the permit system after August 2019. And most of the famous trek routes are taken under the section of Immigration to receive quality tourists. Nepal Government made the decision to change the permit policy to focus to visit Nepal.
Police checkpoints are set up on several paths on all trekking routes. So, do not try to trek without permits, do not take risks otherwise, you will get punishment by paying the double cost of each permit on the spot.
Following are the rates of entrance permit according to the conservation area, National Park & wildlife reserve (Updated on 15 May 2023 AD).

Restricted areas /special permit cost detail for trek in Nepal.
To hike or trek in Nepal, especially into the control region such as Manaslu, Mustang, and Dolpa, you need to go over a registered trek agency. Trekkers are not allowed to trek alone into the protected or in a restricted areas in Nepal. You should be at least 2 people in the group with valid passports and visas.
Moreover, anyone willing to enter the restricted area must get a restricted area permit either from the Nepal tourism board or through an authorized trekking company that obtains it through the immigration Nepal office, locates in Kalikstan, Kathmandu, Nepal. In addition, we are a registered trekking agency based in Kathmandu to make all official formalities to obtain trekking permits.
