Khopra Ridge Trek Review

Khopra Ridge trek w/ Ram (guide) and Dependra (porter)

Rated 5 out of 5
April 28, 2019

My adult son and I just finished (April 20-26) our trek with this company. I cannot say enough good things about them. Ammar, the owner, responded very quickly to my initial inquiry and from that moment forward he was very helpful and responsive to all of my questions.

He coordinated all of our transportation and lodging from the moment of arrival at the airport. Our guide, Ram, met me at the airport and rescued me from the chaos of Kathmandu. The trek itself was simply amazing. I will carry this experience with me for the rest of my life. The culture and scenery of the Annapurna region are unlike anything I have ever seen.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about the trek as well as Nepali life, in general. Our porter, Dependra, was also fantastic. If you are considering trekking in Nepal you simply cannot go wrong by choosing Gokyo Treks and Expeditions. The entire staff is supremely professional, friendly and competent. They are wonderful ambassadors for the trekking industry and for Nepal.

Dhanyabad, Gokyo Treks and Expeditions!

October 10, 2018

I was looking for a serious partner to organize my journey. I found some recommendations for Gokyo Treks and Expedition in a website and i contacted Ammar. Immediately i got answers to my questions , I had some. All answers were very precise and clear, all prices were shown, nothing is hidden.

I got several ideas of trekking itinerary and I was completely convinced that Ammar’s Agency is the best partner for me. The guide and porter were well choosen and a super team, the trekking was full of fun. Also the home stay in Ammar’s house I will recommend. Quiet and comfortable, hospitality you wont find somewhere else. If I will (yes I will) come back to Nepal Ammar and his team will be my partner again.

I can strongly recommend them ! Thank you, Ammar, team and family, to make my feel warmly welcome. Come as a guest, leave as a friend.
