Travelers can experience the views of Jugal Himal, Rolwaling range, Gaurishankar, Mahalangur, Parchamo peak, Chobabhamre..etc.

An adventure Tashi Lepcha pass is combined with climbing Pachermo (6,272m/20,572 feet) peak, another adventure plus on your journey. But, we advise only for experienced trekkers. Because there are some blue ice and crevasse on the pass and sometimes technically more difficult.

Furthermore, the diversity in flora and fauna, rich in local cultural heritage are the other highlights of this trek. Adventure Rolwaling Tashi Lepcha pass trek escapes from the well-trekked trails to explore the untouched ridges and valleys below the Gaurishankar Himalaya range and combines a wide variety of scenery, passing through charming, tranquil villages, while we enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Gauri Shankar and Jugal Himal.

As soon we crossed this high pass, we descend downhill walking to Khumbu valley passing by Thame village. Descend downhill walking to Lukla bazaar and fly out to Kathmandu from the wonderful memory of the Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha pass trek. However, if you don’t like to descend downhill walking, you might continue your multi-adventure trek to Everest base camp or Gokyo valley as you like. Tashilapcha pass is in a Rolwalling territory and is possible to explore at any time (except winter months) during the year.

The sun rises over the majestic Gaurishankar this morning as we ascend a forested ridge-line above the Rolwaling Valley ahead of us we can see the sharp peak of Gaurisankar (7,135m) standing on the border with Tibet. To our left the valley’s Southern slope arise up gradually become the ridge-series shaping the border with Tibet. Nagaon is a Sherpa village that situated at an elevation on 4,183 meters above the sea and offers some nice guest houses.

As we reach Nagaon in the midday, we would have plenty of time in the afternoon to explore something around. Likewise, our guide and the kitchen crew will make final preparations of all entire foods that we require to take up to the higher camps for the next few days.

7 DayTrek to Tso Rolpa Lake (4,588m/15,053 feet), 3 hours.

Cross the Tsho rolpa river, walk through the nice valley and ascend to the glacial moraine wall at Tso Rolpa Lake (4,588m/15,053 feet). Viewpoint just above a lake provides an incredible landscapes, the lake itself and glacial rolwaling path. The lake is also called Chukyima Pokhari and famous for enhancing spiritual health as you witness the peaceful and tranquil Tibetan Buddhists as they go about their daily routine. Beneath the soaring peak of Menlung, we encounter our first glimpse of the Trakarding Glacier. As we arrive here on the ground of Tso Rolpa, we fix our tent for an overnight stay and rest of the time, explore around which helps you to get better acclimatization. This lake had been growing steadily from the 1950’s and lead to worry about the stability of the moraine dam at its western end. As a result a channel was cut through the rocky moraine dam and an engineered sluice installed to help relieve the pressure.

8 DayTso Rolpa Lake to Kabung Campsite (4,820m/15,814 feet), 4 hours.

We will pass along the flank of the lake and camp either alongside at Kabug or just past the lake. The journey today is harder then earlier days therefore we walk only a short distance with four hours only.

9 DayKabung to Trakarding Glacier Trek (4,800m/15,749 feet), 4 hours

on the west flank of Parchamo, and where the Drolambau glacier tumbles down from the canyon to the north. Depending on the conditions on the hillside and the glacier its self we will pick a route up to a rocky rib on the outer south east edge of the valley corner where we will set up the campsite. Note that Trakarding Glacier is also marked as the Tashi Lapcha base camp.

10 DayTashi Lapcha pass trek (5,755m/18,882 feet) & High camp, 8 hours

We will make an early start to make the most of the more stable, frozen, slopes above us. The epic crossing of Tashi Lapcha pass will leave you breathless, with jaw-dropping high mountain scenery along the way. In terms of high altitude and higher elevations, crossing Tashi Lapcha is the hardest day hike and the most difficult hike in the world. Comparing other tent treks in the Himalayas, Tashi Lepcha is a difficult hiking trail in Nepal but not the most dangerous hike in the world.

Parchamo will keep us in the shade so the first few hours will be cold as we push on slowly up the Drolambau glacier with Teng Ragi Tau massive in front of us. As we reach its flank we double back on ourselves on a glacial camp up to the Tashi Labsta Pass. Here we emerge into the full force of the sun and get our first view down into the Thame River valley as it drops toward the Khumbu. We go a little past the pass and round to a large overhanging cave at the foot of the Teng Ragi Tau where we make our high camp.

11 DayPachermo peak climbing (6,272m/20,578 feet). Trek to Thengpo 4,370m/14,337 feet, 7 hours.

If we feel better and well acclimatize then we proceed to start early to begin Pachermo summit attempt. Cross the glacial moraine at the pass and then rope up to begin the steeper ground. We are essentially following the longtail – ridgeline up to the summit but it will involve some degree of winding back and forth around undulations and pinnacles before we reach the summit. The view out from the summit takes in an unimaginable view of several mountains including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu ..etc. After the required photos we will carefully begin the descent back to our high camp to meet the entire crew.

12 DayReserve day incase of bad weather

This extra day is included to ensure a successful summit of Pachermo in case of unfavorable weather conditions. We’ll take care to ensure our team members are properly acclimatized for the ascent. However, we reach at our camping spot on time for an unbelievable sunset view to Everest territory. Its time to clean the base camp also.

13 DayHigh Camp to Thame Village (3,820m/12,533 feet), 5 hours

Descending downhill is even more harder then ascend therefore we leave early to again make the most of the time when the ice and rocks are well frozen and stable. We select our way carefully down initially steep ground and then to a set of small lakes. At this point, it’s an easier a few kilometers down to Thengpo. If we all feel good we may push on down to Thame to give us more time in Namche tomorrow. Also, visit an ancient monastery above Thame.

14 DayTrek from Thame to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286 feet), 3 hours

Thme village is a traditional Sherpa village in the Everest Region of Nepal, and that receives fewer visitors than other villages in the Khumbu Territory. It’s also a legendary of Sherpa inhabitants. The trail from Thame monastery to Namche Bazaar is fine, easy and 9.7 kilo meters distance that we can cover in three hours Journey. However, a short trek to Namche gives you a chance to enjoy the fabulous mountains scenery, National park museum etc.

15 DayTrek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla.

The final descent to Lukla is steep and rocky, but the oxygen-rich air will bring great comfort. Descending into the lush jungles against the roar of the Dudh Koshi below, we’ll leave the Himalayan giants behind us and stop for our final rest in Lukla.

16 DayFly from Lukla to Kathmandu airport

A morning flight will bring us back to Kathmandu. You’ll be escorted from Tribhuvan airport to your hotel. Enjoy the sights and sounds of bustling Thamel for the evening and reminisce about an amazing journey.

17 DayFinal departure day

Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward to your final destination and our trip ends. Wish you a wonderful journey.
