The Tashi lapcha Pass Trek is situated in Rolwaling mountain region in Nepal. It is located in between Rolwaling & Khumbu valley provides an opportunity to explore the remote parts of mountain scenery. The highest altitude of this trek is 5,755m above sea level and you can experience the views of Jugal Himal, Rolwaling range, Gaurishanker, Mahalangur, Parchamo peak and Chobabhamre..etc.
An adventure Tashi lapcha pass is combined with climbing Pachermo (6,272m/20,572 feet) peak, another adventure plus on your journey. So, we recommend only experienced trekkers because there is some blue ice and craves on the pass, so sometimes it is technically very difficult.
Furthermore, the diversity in flora and fauna, rich in local culture and heritage are the other highlights of this trek. As soon we crossed this high pass, We descend downhill walking to Khumbu valley passing by Thame village. However, if you don’t like to descend downhill walking than you might continue your trek to Everest base camp or Gokyo valley as you like. It is a tough classical trek with 17 days itinerary compared to most walks in this region. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, we will receive you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu with breakfast plan. Our representative will give you information about further programs.
All aspects of gear and conditions are discussed to make sure you’re fully prepared for the trip, and any last-minute questions answered. After lunch, we explore this medieval capital. We visit Boudhanath, also known as Little Tibet. Then we visit Pashupatinath, holy temple of Hindu where the cremation takes place by the holy river Bagmati. Later we visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Syambhunath Stupa. And transfer to hotel.
Traveling on the Friendship Highway, which connects Kathmandu to Lhasa, we head toward Jiri to our trail head at Shigati. Our trek begins with a short hike to Suri Doban where we fix our tent camp for tonight.
Our journey begins on a trail through dense forests of rhododendron and orchids to Jagat.
Many times of ascending and descending journey along the banks of the Rolwaling river take us through a narrow valley to a suspension bridge across which a steep climb takes us to the hillside village of Simigaun.
The sun rises over the majestic Gaurishankar this morning as we ascend a forested ridge-line above the Rolwaling Valley. A gradual descent to the river banks takes us Kharka where we fix our Tent for overnight stay.
Views of Gaurishankar continue to impress us as we follow the Rolwaling Khola, arriving at a tributary from which we ascend to an open plain where the Sherpa village of Beding is located.
A pastoral scene unfolds around Beding where fields of buckwheat and barley are punctuated by grazing mountain yaks. To our left, a stunning ridge line formed by Bamango, Cheking, and Konyklemo stands to be admired. Passing an impressive monastery, we reach our overnight stop at Na.
Crossing an expansive plain we ascend to the glacial waters of Tso Rolpa Lake. Beneath the soaring peak of Menlung, we encounter our first glimpse of the Trakarding Glacier. As we arrive here on the ground of Tso Rolpa, we fix our tent for overnight stay.
An amazing day of exploration awaits around the rocky moraine of Trakarding Glacier. Other worldly rock and ice formations surround us in a landscape of fascinating variety.
Following a high trail above Trakarding Glacier, we descend across an expanse of ice and rock for an amazing 360 degree panoramic view at the base of Drolambau glacier. As you reach on the Tashilapcha base camp, you can explore around.
The epic crossing of Tashi Lapcha pass will leave you breathless, with jaw dropping high mountain scenery along the way. Following a path cut beneath a massive rock overhang, we reach our camping spot in time for an unbelievable sunset.
Ascending snow covered slopes to a ridge-line above TashiLapcha, we reach the summit of Parchermo. Amazing views from the summit reward us including a vast expanse of the Khumbu region. We descend downhill to Thengpo place to stay overnight.
This extra day is included to ensure a successful summit of Pachermo in case of unfavorable weather conditions. We’ll take care to ensure our team members are properly acclimatized for the ascent.
An easy descent to Thame will reward us with spectacular views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, AmaDablam, KusumKangari, and Thamserku. Also visit an ancient monastery above Thame.
The day begins with a gradual descent and then becomes steep before a bridge crossing over the DudhKoshi to PhunkiTenga. A verdant green change of scenery unfolds on our journey to Namche Bazaar.
The final descent to Lukla is steep and rocky, but the oxygen-rich air will bring great comfort. Descending into the lush jungles against the roar of the DudhKoshi below, we’ll leave the Himalayan giants behind us and stop for our final rest in Lukla.
A morning flight will bring us back to Kathmandu. You’ll be escorted from Tribhuvan airport to your hotel. Enjoy the sights and sounds of bustling Thamel for the evening and reminisce upon an amazing journey.
Morning we’ll drive back through the scenic countryside and during the route will stop for breakfast & lunch. It takes 7 hours back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu guide will transfer to the hotel and rest of the day relax or explore the surrounding areas and overnight at hotel.

Answer: Actually for this kind of trekking is suitable for keen trekkers/walkers who are able to walk around 4 or 5 hours in a day, with a lightweight daypack. For this trekking, if you have about the little experience would be better.
Answer: We provide you tourist standard accommodation in Kathmandu and Tented accommodation on trek route. However we recommend you to take your own sleeping bags if you have one with you otherwise, you may rent it while you are in Kathmandu.

Answer: When walking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to a gradient, terrain, and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however, you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.
