The North Ridge is approached from Monjo on the trail to Namche Bazaar. From base camp ascend steep grassy and screed and finally a ramp leading to the correct ridge.

01 Day Arrival at Kathmandu valley

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, we will receive you in a private vehicle and transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu. Our representative will brief you on climbing the Kusum Kanguru peak plan.

02 DayThe World heritage site of Kathmandu valley sightseeing, 6-7 hours.

After breakfast the day will start with our guided trip to the UNESCO world heritage site in Kathmandu valley. The sightseeing includes the pilgrimage sites of Hindu’s Pashupati temple, the world’s biggest Bouddhanath Stupa, and visit Swayambhunath Stupa.

Swayambhu Stupa is commonly popular as a Monkey Temple in Nepal. In addition, visit the historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with the temple, unique architecture, and Kumari (living goddess) in central Kathmandu. 03 Day Early morning, Kathmandu to Lukla airport flight. Hike to Bengkar village (2,630m/8,629 feet), 5-6 hours

Take an early plane from Kathmandu to Lukla terminal (2,840m/9,318 feet), seat at north side to get a better look. Upon arrival at Lukla bazaar, meet our entire crew, have breakfast, and proceed to go. As you hike from Lukla to Phakding village, the path is one of the easiest parts as the landscapes go simply up in rising order.

The journey goes further with a gentle rise in the mountainside of the Dudh Koshi river. Passing several Sherpa localities, we reach Bengkar village.

04 Day Climb to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286 feet), 4-5 hours

The trail ascends through the Koshi riverbank into the mountain, through a forest to Chumoa. We continue along the trail with many ups and downs; cross a stream, and pass by the tiny Monjo village. We come to the Sagarmatha National Park office to pay for entrance fees.

Cross the Hillary bridge and the steep ascent to Namche Bazar but On the way, we have first-rate Everest (8848m) and Lhotse (8516m.) mountain views. Encircled around the mountains, Namche Bazaar is a central point for selling commodities, trekking gear, and other necessary goods.

05 DayTrek to Khumjung Village (3,780m/12,402 feet). Sengboche hill hikes, 3 hours

We begin our journey with a challenging one-hour climb to the Sengboche airstrip. From there, we gradually ascend towards Khunde, passing by numerous chortens (stone Buddhist monuments) and a hill station.

Upon reaching the hilltop, we are rewarded with an exceptional view of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawche, Kongde, Thamserku, and more. Khumjung, nestled at the foothill of Khumbila, is home to the Khumjung Monastery, a site of interest for many tourists.

The Hillary Viewpoint at 4,200m, situated at the ridge of Khunde village (also known as Gong-ri), is an ideal spot for a day hike from Khunde or from Khumjung. It is approximately a 45-minute walk from Khunde to the viewpoint. it can help you to acclimatize better.

06 DayKhumjung to Kusum Kanguru base camp trek (4,796m/15,736 feet), 7 hours

Ascend with off the beaten path trek route and follows a Yak herder’s, crosses a couple of cols and climbs up we reach Kusum Kanguru base camp. Reaching the base camp, our team will set up a campsite, in a wilderness area so you can take a rest. Hike some meters up to feel better acclimatization but it is not a must.

07-15 Day Kusum Kanguru peak climbing Period (Basecamp – Summit (6,369m/20,896 feet) – Basecamp)

Climb Kusum Kanguru peak in Everest zone is not usual. Only a fewer tourists demand it to climb. Our climbing crew have to make a little path to go however, seven days should be enough to get to the summit and return to base camp.

16 DayDescend to Monjo village (2,835m/9,301 feet), 7 hours.

A long day walks to get to Monjo village passing Sherpa communities of Namche Bazaar and Jorsale, we reach at Monjo village.

17 DayReturn to Tenzing Hillary airport at Lukla Bazaar (2,840m/9,318 feet), 6 hours

An easy tours today to get back at Lukla airport. We travel to Lukla Bazaar with the same trail that we use on our ascending. It is the last day of our climbing. Our guide will go to the airline counter to reconfirm the return flight to Kathmandu for the next morning.

18 DayScenic Mountain flight from Lukla to Kathmandu Tribhuvan international airport.

We board our early flight from Lukla to Kathmandu airport. Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan international airport, we arrange a return transfer back to your hotel. In the afternoon, go shopping or request us to discover Kathmandu as a guided trip at an additional cost.

19 DayFinal departure day

Drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) onward to your final destination and our trip ends. Wish you a wonderful journey.

Answer: Basically, we serve you a tent accommodation along the entire journey however sometimes you can stay at a guest house below the base camp. As you progress higher especially above the base camp, you’ll likely stay in tented camps set up by our expedition team.

These camps provide basic but comfortable accommodations, usually including sleeping tents, dining tents, and sometimes even shower tents. As you move closer to the summit, you may stay in higher camps that are more Spartan and focused on providing shelter and safety rather than comfort.

Likewise, our professional cook cooks a delicious range of mostly vegetarian meals. They are Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, curry rice, bread, soups, and fresh vegetables (variety depends on the season). However meals are often more varied and substantial, including a mix of local and Western dishes to provide ample energy for the strenuous activity serve with tea/coffee.

Answer: During the guest house trekking, you will have a chance to recharge the battery on a small fee. We advise you to bring an additional pair in case and remember to bring your own adapters!.

Answer: We recommend booking your trip with us as early as possible. While we strive to accommodate last-minute bookings, a 25% advance deposit is required to secure your reservation. This deposit allows us to make all necessary arrangements for your trip however, the remaining payment can be settled upon your arrival in Nepal.

Question: Who will carry my luggage on express Kusum Kanguru peak climbing?

Answer: We arrange porters to transfer your luggage starting from Lukla airport from the first day. As we are a responsible trekking tour operator agency, every porter carry a maximum of 24 kilos of your backpack which means 2 guests (12 kg luggage of each guest): 1 porter basis.

Answer: If you have those climbing gear at your home bring them along with you. If you don’t have them, you can rent them either in Kathmandu or at Name Bazaar.

Question: How much additional money do I need per day? can i pay those extra cost using credit card?

Answer: You can allocate US$ 10 to 15 to cover your extra expenses to buy bottles of water, chocolates, tea coffee. However you should bring all in Nepali local currency to pay your daily extra expenses as credit card payment option is limited.
