The Island Peak Climb was an awesome experience! Fur Galzen, our fantastic Sherpa guide, was not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly helpful throughout the journey. He was always eager to capture great pictures for everyone, adding an extra special touch to our adventure.

Moreover, the agency provided excellent suggestions for hiking and climbing equipment, including where to buy or rent them. This was incredibly helpful, ensuring that we had the right gear for the muddy trails without ruining our shoes.

All in all, the honesty of the agency and the friendliness of our Sherpa guide made this trip a must do experience. We are truly grateful for such a remarkable and memorable climb to Island Peak.

We have just returned back home from Nepal, where we trekked the Gokyo Lake and back over Renjo la pass for 10 days. When we arrived in Kathmandu, we were warmly welcomed by Ammar and his family where we stayed for a few nights.

Also, when the flight was cancelled, Ammar suggested us to go to the Chitwan National Park first (which we planned at the end), and it was a very good choice, because when we came back the weather was good again. So while other travelers would transfer from hotel to the airport and back, we enjoyed the wild life 🙂 .

Our guide was also very nice and like a friend who is travelling with us. 🙂 and since we weren’t in a big group we could change our trekk to the other side of Renjo La Pass, but hiking the same way down… we had a wonderful time and are very satisfied

In September, we embarked on an incredible journey, taking on the Manaslu Circuit with the addition of Tsum Valley. Throughout the trek, our guide, Bharat, proved to be an invaluable asset. His unwavering helpfulness and attentiveness to our needs, coupled with his extensive knowledge of the region and its customs, made the entire experience even more rewarding.

Undoubtedly, it was a challenging hike, but the beauty of the landscapes we traversed was simply breathtaking. Following the course of Budhi Gandaki river, we were mesmerized by the wonders of nature. The highlight was undoubtedly reaching the Larke Pass, an impressive mountain pass soaring at 5160 meters above sea level.

We are immensely grateful for this unforgettable adventure, and it wouldn’t have been the same without Bharat’s guidance and expertise. The memories of this remarkable journey will stay with us forever.

Gokyo Treks and Expeditions was exceptional. My friend and I went on a 14 day trek of Gokyo and EBC, and hired a guide through the company. Our guide Kamal made our trip incredible (request Kamal if you can, he’s the best!). He was so warm, caring, and knowledgeable. We learned so much from him about the mountains, Nepali culture, etc.

He went out of his way to take great care of us by making sure we got nicer rooms at lower rates. When my friend was having some altitude sickness symptoms, he knew exactly what to do and immediately took care of him. I don’t think our trip would have been nearly as rewarding and stress-free if not for Kamal!

Because we were not part of a big tour group, we could be flexible with our itinerary. This allowed us to spend more time in some places and keep going in others.

The booking process was also very smooth thanks to the owner, Ammar. He could be easily reached by WhatsApp any time we had a question during the booking/planning process.
