During my trek along the Tamang Heritage Trail, I had the pleasure of being guided by Gokyo Treks once again. This marked my third time using their services, and as expected, they didn’t disappoint. We decided to set out on a thrilling adventure with my 19-year-old, 15-year-old, and myself (45-year-old) by booking the Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp trek. The local agency, Gokyo Treks, expertly arranged everything for us, including the domestic flights from Lukla, a knowledgeable guide, and three porters to assist us from the Lukla airport. The experience of landing at Lukla airport was nothing short of amazing and filled us with excitement for the journey ahead.

Throughout the trek, the friendly and dedicated guides worked seamlessly as a team, ensuring our safety and comfort at every step of the way. The guest houses we stayed in were clean and provided a comfortable resting place after each day’s adventure. Undoubtedly, the experience was worth every penny spent.

Nagarkot sunrise with Bhaktapur City Tour with Guide Ammar. It was an amazing day trip with Ammar Guni! His knowledge on every aspect of Nepal and the daily life of their local people was great. The sunrise from Nagarkot was not the best as it was a cloudy morning reaching the hill station.

In fact, the guide told us some of the mountain names. Despite clouds, we had a great hike to Bhaktapur royal palace a UNESCO heritage site. Fabulous hike with stunning sightseeing. The private aspect of this tour is so agreeable! Highly suggest.

Although there are a couple of airlines operating mountain flights, we choose Buddha air. We get special discount airfare of US$ 193 per head. All of us, we luckily have a private window before the wings. Our skyline flight time is about 55 minutes.

The Air hostess was pointing us to the summit of the mountain that we are seeing from the aircraft window. As it is a tiny plane, there was not possible to seat in a cockpit for mountain photography.

Because of flying over the massive summits, touched my heart, It was a once in a lifetime experience. We are very happy that we have done it on our first time Nepal visit.

My oldest Son and I had such a wonderful climbing adventure trip with Nawang Chonga Sherpa. We had never such as High Mountain climbed before but Sherpa Guide Nawang made sure we had the necessary equipment and explained everything.

The whole time was just amazing except some steps near the Summit. It was difficult for me but hardly touch the summit with his perfect guidance. Totally happy and I would highly recommend Gokyo Treks & Expedition agency and Nawang if you are looking for an unforgettable and amazing climbing journey to Island peak.
