Me and my friend booked Langtang Valley trek throw Gokyo Treks and we dont regret anything, because everything was just PERFECT. We also customized little bit the trip with our guide Bishnu and everything went very well. So if you want to go trekking to Nepal i highly reccomend use Gokyo Treks services, because there are professionals who know how to organizise everything.

My adult son and I did this trek with our wonderful guide Ram and a porter (Mangol) for our bags. We ended up being the only ones in the group which proved lucky as we were able to tailor the days to our interests and needs.

The trek was spectacularly gorgeous, and guest houses were chosen for us comfortable and well-run, and best of all, our guide was a delight. He took such good care of us and was so thoughtful and proactive that we felt comfortable and safe in all situations. Including an exciting and rickety suspension bridge crossing! His English meant interesting conversations and a willingness to engage with us to the extent that we wanted.

I would use this service, and Ram, again in a heartbeat.

Additionally, Ammar was extremely responsive right from the beginning, and patient with my many questions before the trek.

Had a great experience with Gokyo on my Poon Hill trek! They made everything very easy and straight forward and helped put together a custom trek that suited my fitness level and needs. My guide Rajesh was excellent, he had lots of local info and knew where all the best viewpoints were.I recommend everyone use these guys, and make sure to request Rajesh!

My best friend and I had been talking about doing a trek through the Himalayas for almost two years before we made it happen. We finally settled on Ammar’s company and don’t regret it. We had a wonderful guide named Bishnu who ended up feeling like more of a friend by the end of it and an incredibly sweet porter who’s name I feel terrible misspelling, but sounds like “Saloos”. They made our trip feel homey and comfortable, and while sometimes we had to turn down certain hikes due to physical tiredness or illness, Bishnu always found an alternative.

If we make it back to Nepal, we will be using this company again and hopefully getting to request the same guide and porter. Ammar always responded quickly through the booking process and was incredibly honest when we were issued a small refund for something we didn’t even know about! I definitely recommend this company.
