We contacted Ammar frequently via email and whatsapp to make our Naya Kanga Peak climb trip better. We made this trip in September – early October with Friendly Guide Pasang Sherpa including 3 other professional sherpa. Around Manaslu is a trekking tour with fascinating landscapes and lovely villages. Nar-Phu Valley is also named “lost valleys” a very remote region feeling like a journey to past times. To cross Larkya La (5100m) and Kangla La (5320m) are exhausting days, but you will be rewarded with beautiful views, a sense of achievement, and pleasant tiredness in the evening.

Our guide Kamal became a friend the porter was friendly and reliable. Ammar (head of Gokyo Treks) managed all our wishes excellent.

He procured the permits organized the vehicles and domestic flights and last but not least his staff is excellent. We traveled with Gokyo Treks already 2017 in Khumbu region. We were very satisfied with both trips and will again use the services of Gokyo Treks at the next visit to Nepal.

We met Ammar in his Europe Tour 2010 in Freiburg, Germany. We had a plan to climb Larkya peak climbing since a long time, so we discuss with Ammar regarding this trip possibilities in autumn season.

Luckily, we managed our holiday and booked Larkya la peak climbing 2019 with Gokyo Treks agency in Nepal. We had marvelous weather, enjoyed our trip around Manaslu and got successfully ascend Larkya peak with mountain guide Nawang Sherpa and 5 other travel crew. The agency made everything booking for us. The prices were competitive too. So we spent our holiday comfortably with our friendly trekking and climbing crew. Thus, it was an excellent service from start to end.

We did an outstanding trek from Panchpokhari to Langtang passing over Tilman pass – absolutely amazing views. The landscape changes frequently from rice fields to waterfalls to snow-capped mountains with glacial lakes. Our trek leader Ram did a fantastic job teaching us about the history of the region and mountains. He knew the area so well and always knew the best place to set up campsites. This is our 3rd tour with Gokyo Treks Company and we enjoy the itineraries that they offer. This trip ebc was fantastic. The Mountain views and the landscapes were splendid. But the trail reaching at the base camp was not easy because of sleeper and crevasses, snowfall..etc.

Our Guide was Bishnu Panday and 2 porters from Lukla were easy-going and friendly.

Our accommodations at lodges were superb. But sadly on our return from Lukla to Kathmandu flight was canceled due to the cause of bad weather. Ammar made quick contact with the helicopter company and offered us a discounted price for helicopter flights to Kathmandu. Flying in a helicopter to see the last view of Mount Everest was amazing.
