My oldest Son and I had such a wonderful climbing adventure trip with Nawang Chonga Sherpa. We had never such as High Mountain climbed before but Sherpa Guide Nawang made sure we had the necessary equipment and explained everything.

The whole time was just amazing except some steps near the Summit. It was difficult for me but hardly touch the summit with his perfect guidance. Totally happy and I would highly recommend Gokyo Treks & Expedition agency and Nawang if you are looking for an unforgettable and amazing climbing journey to Island peak.

Our guide, Ram and porter Bude waiwa were the best. We were a couple from rocky trails. Picked us up at the airport and arranged everything like permits, Pokhara flight tickets, transfer, and booking comfort lodges in Annapurna trekking and as well as responsive to all of our needs.

They were very knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information about the trail, tradition, and their country.

The staff at this place was incredibly friendly and always responsive, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Though the transportation was non-AC, it didn’t pose any issue as we traveled in early March 2022 when the weather was pleasant. Our guide, Ram, was not only super friendly but also shared captivating stories, including one about a ghost that intrigued us.

To top it off, we managed to squeeze in a visit to the beautiful Godavari Botanical Park, despite having limited time. The overall experience was truly fantastic, making the Phulchoki day tour a definite must-try if you find yourself with some free time during your stay in the Kathmandu valley.

We have booked Everest base camp trek with a Gokyo Treks and Expedition, a local agency in Nepal. Like other trekking, we choose a guide Bishnu Panday for our Everest holiday. Although it is a high season there were very less trekkers in the region because of covid-19 travel restrictions.

Ammar, owner of the agency was friendly and answered all of my questions, and offered a cheaper deal to us. Luckily we had good weather, a perfect Lukla flight, and also from base camp, we achieved the most amazing view of Khumbu Icefall and little stone stupas, an open memorial park of death climbers.

Besides of trekking, Ammar took us to the world heritage sites of Kathmandu. Thanks, Ammar for arranging a great trip for us. We are hoping to be back for next adventure in the coming spring season in Nepal.

Trekking with Gokyo Treks & Expedition agency was a great experience from conceptualizing and customizing our Manaslu circuit trek with Ammar (kind, professional, and helpful) to trekking with Rajesh (not only a great guide but also a great friend!). 100% would recommend Gokyo agency and will be trekking with them in the future.
