Local community is making a tremendous effort to restore and protect these structures, so purchasing tickets is a meaningful way to contribute to their conservation.

Entrance fees US$ 7.5 for Patan Palace plus museum and US$ 15 for Bhaktapur Palace are a small price to pay for the opportunity to witness such world heritage sites.

Ammar, our knowledgeable guide, was a fortunate addition to our experience. He shared captivating stories about the landmarks and guided us through the local streets, allowing us to admire the traditional Newari houses along the way.

It was an amazing experience going with an experienced mountain guide. Sherpa Nawang was a friendly and tough guy who inspired us making our journey safe and successful. Professional cook Kamal and other entire camping crew members were great.
