Being a novice trekker Gokyo’s organized trek with extremely helpful and encouraging guides Shree Ram and porters made it a very memorable experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wishes to trek in Nepal, especially at a very reasonable price without any compromise on the quality!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our Kathmandu City Tour with Gokyo Treks. Anmar was fantastic throughout; replying to emails and questions promptly, re-arranging the time at late notice and even meeting us at our hotel to introduce us to our guide. It was a fantastic introduction to the city (before we headed off trekking), taking in the sights of Pashupati Nath, Swayambhunath (monkey temple), Boudhanath stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Having a local guide made things so much easier and less stressful as he was able to arrange and negotiate better taxi prices, whilst also showing us sights and giving us information that we would have otherwise missed. Overall, I’d highly recommend Anmar and Gokyo Treks’ Kathmandu City Tour.

Ammar was helping me and my friend to organize our Everest Base Camp trek. We ended up not hiring a guide or a porter, but he still gave us plenty of advice and help that we needed to go there safely. Thank you Ammar for help!

I had a personal tour of the key sites of Kathmandu. A very informative and friendly tour guide, backed up with taxi driver for the day. The sites were incredible and I really enjoyed the expert knowledge from the friendly guide. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this fantastic tour to anyone!

Gokyo Treks was really affordable and easy to liaise with. We texted Ammar on a regular basis prior to the trip to clarify details, and he was always very responsive. The guides and porters catered to our needs and the side treks that we wanted to go for, but they were also wary about our safety and were honest with the risks involved.

The guides took good care of our meals and made sure we were well enough when we fell ill from the cold and AMS. They were really awesome! Thank you Bishnu, Sabin, and Bir. Highly recommend it!,
