To visit Mount Everest is an outstanding journey which we were planning to visit since a long time. Ammar was a Nepal’s local tour operator and we got his contact from one of my friend who did Everest tours with Ammar in 2009.

So, I and my girlfriend (two tourist from Mallorca Beach) have booked our holiday with Gokyo Treks and Expedition in 2018. We also read a lot of good stories about the company in internet before we proceed to book our trip.

We use Whatsapp and Facebook messenger to contact him regularly, convinced with his ideas with a customizable trek plan for Everest Hikes. And further, we immediately transferred the advance trip deposits via Western Union Money Transfer Company.

Landing in Kathmandu, Ammar himself came to pick us up at Tribhuwan international airport. The hotel accommodation in Thamel, fly to Lukla air tickets, Sherpa guide, Dev Kulung porter, and lodges along the journey are just perfect.

The Mountain View from Sengboche hilltop is just breathtaking. You can feel high about 3,800 meters to get almost the best scenery of the tallest mountains surrounding you which was very impressive. Besides that, we hike further to the Everest view hotel for a coffee break.

Thanks Ammar for arranging such an unforgettable journey to Everest peak. We stay in contact with you and will definitely return to Nepal in near future for a longer hike with the Gokyo trekking agency.

We booked a Bhutan trip with Gokyo Treks Agency. Our Guide Ammar’s local representative organized our 8 day Dagala Thousand Lakes trek in a first-class. Our cook Sonam and his entire kitchen crew were just friendly and helpful and the ever-smiling staff is highly appreciated.

We were a group of 2 Germans (me and my wife) and we started on October 15th from Kathmandu to Hiunchuli peak climbing tour. Ammar made almost everything reservation for our trip such as flight tickets, private coach, jeep, hotel reservation, climbing guide..etc along the trek.

Ammar welcomed us at Tribhuwan international airport (TIA), and picked us up at the center point of Thamel. Meeting our mountain guide Nawang, we arranged all the hiking gear together.

4 of our other porters recruited from Ghandruk village, recognized almost all lodges and the local people. They were strong, friendly, and easy-going.

Furthermore, Ammar´s rates are quite decent, much cheaper comparing others. Don´t hesitate to ask further questions, I am happy to answer, and had a good time there. Best wishes, and namaste from.

Very spectacular! The trek up to Ghalegaun with Ghanpokhara and Marshyangdi valley was great, along the riverside through rhododendron forests. We saw a group of Monkeys. We spent a day in Ghale gaon, made a day excursion, bought some local honey, and walked to Begnas lodge. It was tough, maybe not worth the effort.

I booked the Trek with Gokyo Treks and Expeditions and from the initial inquiry to the end of the trip the company was very impressive. Ammar (Company Manager) was extremely efficient and answered e-mails and messages in return.

I was extremely fortunate to have Bhupal as the Guide and Milan as my porter. They were both extremely kind and always wanted to ensure I was safe and happy. The trek was amazing and I would definitely recommend and use this company again for trekking in Nepal there customer service is excellent.
