We were a group of three Tourist from Austria. Me, my wife, a daughter started last October 2019. As it is our 4th time Nepal visit so we tried pokalde peak this time.

Ammar is extremely helpful in choosing the proper lodges, getting our food ready in time, and just making life as easy and entertaining as possible. Although he is young, he has a lot of experience in these regions, and, what is very helpful, a lot of friends among the locals. This can be useful: for example, the boss at Lukla airport is his friend.

You might have heard of problems arising in Lukla when the weather is bad for several days that the planes cannot fly. Tourists are getting nervous because they might miss their international flights. Thus, Ammar´s friend would be very helpful and find you a place in the aircraft for flying out.

Furthermore, Ammar´s rates are quite decent, much cheaper than others. We came on holiday to enjoy so we book our Pokalde full board package trip to avoid any hassle. Finally, he arranged a Sherpa climbing guide for the climbing section, and because of his guidance, all of us touch the summit.

We had a wonderful trek with our guide Shreeram. He went above and beyond to provide a beautiful one-day hike from Kakani to Gurje Bhanjyang, a short drive from Kathmandu. The walk itself was stunning – with regular, clear views of the Himalayas – and Shreeram was so helpful and friendly. It was also very easy to arrange the trek. We are a team of 5 college students from Kathmandu and have booked a Karnali Rafting tour for my college friends with Gokyo Treks and Expedition. From the initial inquiry to the end of the trip the company was very impressive.

Ammar – the founder of the company was extremely efficient. He answers all of our emails and messages in return. He arranged a private transfer for your rafting group to Karnali and back. The rafting Guide was Ram Sharan, and his crew were extremely funny and always wanted to ensure we were happy.

We were beginners for the Rafting tour but achieve amazing knowledge. Their customer service is first-class, so I would definitely recommend Ammar and his rafting agency to anyone.

I successfully completed my Three Passes Trek in Sagarmatha National Park with the help from Gokyo Treks & Expedition. The agency helped me arranged my porterguide and flights between Kathmandu and Lukla.

Agency operator Ammar was very friendly and helpful. Although I opted for a self-planned free and easy trek, Ammar offered me lots of good advice during my planning. When I arrived in Kathmandu, Ammar also met up with me to guide me through the trek arrangement. The service was professional.

We got a chance to know Ammar from some of our hiking friends in the Alps. Me and my wife were curious to know to visit the Annapurna mountains and for a 3 years, we were making a plan to go there.

Luckily, we got a 2 weeks holiday from our job and book the Annapurna panorama journey with Gokyo Treks and Expedition agency in Kathmandu. I thoroughly recommend them for their excellent service, genuine friendliness and hospitality and not least because of their very reasonable prices.

Ram was a fantastic guide, who runs the show, is a delightful man. He bends over backward to make sure his guests have well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble for him. Given that I had back pain problems, I had some initial concerns as to whether I could make it up the mountains, but Ram was extremely flexible with the itinerary and could modify details to suit us at the last minute. I would like to thank our guide and Dipendra our friendly porter. Ammar, the owner of the agency was super friendly and responsible all the time, and without them, we wouldn’t have made it to the Annapurna Panorama journey.

In addition, I do believe this company is considered trusted and offers cheaper treks than most others out there. Don’t hesitate to contact them for a great trip for a lifetime!
