We had a great time with the trek team, who both looked after us well. Our guide Ram was very good at adjusting our schedule on trek, making best use of the sometimes bad weather, and taking account of our abilities.

The tea houses were better than we expected and were generally well organized too. Hotels organized in Thamel, Pokhara, and Bhaktapur were all perfect for us. Trekking up through the forest to the final mountain ridge was very enjoyable, and we did get some fine views between the rain, hail, and snow.

With my wife, I enjoyed trekking with guys from Gokyo Treks and Expedition in Langtang ganja la pass trekking Langtang region. Found agency on the internet and decided to trust them based on good recommendations. Everything was organised as agreed from trekking permits to accommodation in Kathmandu and airport taxi…etc.

The guide knows well all about Ganja la trekking routes and their recent state as it is common that some trails are already collapsed due to common landslides! This can save a significant amount of time.

Ein grosser Dank an Ammar und sein Team. Gokyo trekks and expedition ist ein kleines , gut organisiertes Unternehmen , mit professionellen Guides. Ammar und sein Team organisieren perfekt nach persönlichen Wünschen das Trekking und stehen einem mit gutem Rat bei .

Es wird von Anfang bis am Schluss geholfen, Geld wechseln, Trekking permits einholen, die perfekte , auf die eigene Möglichkeiten zugeschnittene Trekking auswählen. Sie haben auch für kleinere Gruppen Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Man fühlt sich sofort nicht nur wie ein Kunde sondern in die Familie aufgenommen. Sushila, Ammars Frau und Ammars Schwester verwöhnten uns mit leckerem dahl bath.

Wir haben dieses Jahr den Helambu trekk machen dürfen von Kamal als Guide begleitet. Er ist ein sehr ruhiger und kompetenter Guide, immer auf unser Wohl bedacht… Grosser Dank auch an ihm. Wir können Gokyo trekks and expedition nur empfehlen und würden jede Zeit widr mit ihnen unsere Reise in Nepal organisieren. Danke euch allen :))

We were in Nepal for the first time. We decided to have a tour around one of the highest mountains in the world. The organization of that agency was perfect, Rajesh, the guide that have the tour with us, was very careful about what we needed and what we wanted to do.

During the journey, we decided to go to the Manaslu High Camp also, despite the fact that it was not included in the program, but it was not a problem to change the itinerary; it was one of the most amazing experiences in our life.

There was a porter with us also, Krishna: altogether we walked for more than 100 km in the heart of the Himalayas in a not entirely known trek, across rain forests, Nepalese villages with incredible views, and the Larkya La. We suggest it !!! And Tibetan bread also;)

Ammar was very kind in answering all our questions regarding our student holiday tour in Nepal. We wanted to arrange a combo trip (that includes 4 days of trek plus 2 days of city tours) for our students.
