Nepal Wedding Tour detail itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu international airport. Welcome day

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, we welcome you with a special garland. And take you to your hotel where you will receive a special welcome. You will have a candlelit dinner at the hotel in Kathmndu.

Day 2 Wedding ceremony day, 4 hours

Early this morning, you will dress as per the Nepali culture and after breakfast visit Kumari Temple, Ranibari, a sacred Hindu temple (the temple of living Goddess in Kathmandu). Wedding tours can be start according to the Hindu traditions.

After the wedding ceremony, we will transfer you back to your hotel where the girls will welcome you with flowers and songs. You can enjoy a wonderful candlelit dinner with champagne and a special wedding cake in the evening or it is possible to have a wedding party with guests at the hotel.

Day 3 Mountain Flight in the morning. Visit the world heritage monuments in Kathmandu, 6 hours

Drive to the airport to get an Everest Mountain flight tour to get a glimpse of the highest mountains on earth. It’s one hour flight that goes around the Himalayas. Return to the hotel for a super delicious breakfast.

Gokyo Agency’s professional guide will pick you up from your hotel at around 10 am, and we start to visit the heritage sites of Kathmandu. Visit UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple to learn about Nepal’s Buddhist and Hindu traditions. Learn about the history and art of the temple and the recovery from the 2015 earthquake.

Day 4Early morning, drive to Nagarkot (33 km) hill station, 1.5 hours

Early in the morning right after breakfast, drive to Nagarkot Airport to enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas. Nagarkot Hill offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayas at an angle of 120 degrees and is the best place to watch the sunrise and sunset.

Five of the ten highest mountains/mountains in the world are commonly found. These are Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Cho Oyu, Mount Makalu, and Mount Manaslu can be seen here. Take breakfast at Nagarkot hill and be ready for a short hike to Changu Narayan temple.

Changu Narayan Temple (World Heritage Site)

It is located on a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley, about 12 kilometers east of the city & dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. It’s one of the most recent forms of the Pagoda Hands in 323 AD by King Hari Dutta Vera. Pilgrims will continue to descend to the palace of Bhaktapur kings.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square (Bhadgaon)

We visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square where you will see a collection of shikhara-style pagodas and temples gathered in a palace of 55 wooden windows. Also, you can see Peacock Window, Dattatreya Square, Nyatapol Square, Lion Gate, Golden Gate and Golden Gate, 55 Window Palace, National Art Gallery, King Bhupatindra Malla Statue…etc. Transfer back to Kathmandu to the hotel.

Day 5Drive (7 hours) or fly (25 minutes) to Pokhara (210 km)

After breakfast we drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes about 7 hours passing through tiny villages, Trishuli River valley, agricultural farms, and beautiful mountain scenery. Pokhara is the center of adventure in Nepal. The Pokhara valley provides an outstanding Mountain view of mount Dhaulagiri, mount Manaslu, and mount Machhapuchhare including several snow-capped mountains. Moreover, the lovely Fewa lake and mountains enhance the beauty of the valley. Walk to Fewa lake port to watch its beauty. Walk back to the hotel to stay overnight.

Day 6Sarangkot Hill station sunrise ! Pokhara city day tour with a guide. 7 hours

In the very early morning, we drive about 1 hour to reach Sarangkot hill station for sunrise. During our drive, we drive passes over the ridges above Pokhara town with never hiding views of the Annapurna Himalayan ranges.

From Sarangkot ridge, you can view a panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks, from Dhaulagiri (8,167m) in the west to the perfect pyramid of Machhapuchhare (6,997m), the tent-like peak of Annapurna II (7,937m) to Lamjung (6,983m) in the east including Annapurna and Manaslu family. Most people come here at dawn or dusk, when the sun picks out the peaks, transforming them from a purple-pink to a celestial gold. Later than sunrise, we drive back to the hotel, picked up our delicious breakfast, and conduct our Pokhara city day tour.

At first, we drive towards to get Devi’s fall spot which is a beautiful waterfall named after a Swiss who was swept away by the flood while bathing in the waterfall. Gupteshwor cave is an amazing 100 m-long cave divided into 2 parts. At the end of 1st 50m, you can see a self-created statue of Lord Shiva. Likewise, at the end of the cave, visitors can see the Davis fall (waterfall) coming down from the other side. A Tibetan refugee camp is the place where the Tibetan refugees were given shelter after they were exiled from Tibet in the decade of the 1950s. Get closure to understand to see the refugee and their lifestyle.

Likewise, Bindabasani Temple is a small but old temple situated at the heart of the old market in Pokhara town. It is very famous for marriages that take place in huge numbers there. Furthermore, we visit Seti river George which has carved a deep, narrow chasm through the middle of town, turning the water milky white in the process. Later on, Tal Barahi Temple is located in the middle of Phewa Lake, we visit there by boat drive and return to the hotel for a delicious Nepali-style dinner.

Day 7Return with a drive to Kathmandu. Final departure to airport!

Early morning we drive out to Kathmandu city with a Prithvi Highway however flight options are also available in a extra cost. Drop you into Kathmandu International Airport for your onward final destination flight. Wish you a wonderful journey!!!
