01 DayArrival in Kathmandu Town. World heritage spots in Kathmandu Sightseeing, 3/4 hours.Land at Kathmandu international airport and transfer to your hotel with a private car. After refreshments, we start our day trip visiting world heritage sites located in Kathmandu city. The Kathmandu city tour includes Boudhanath Stupa, a holy Pashupatinath temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. At the Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, Tourists can watch Hindu cremation takes place on the bank of the Bagmati River. In the evening, we brief your Bhairav Kunda trekking, questions, and last-minute answer.
After having breakfast we will head towards Jalbire. We can have a view of the mountains during our bus traveling. We will head to the northeast on the road to Tibet to Balephi, which is once believed to be the business route to Tibet. The Banepali Valley is just wonderful. After our breakfast, we will head towards Chanaute village. We will pass through some Tamang villages and splendid waterfalls to reach Chanute. It is a small village and common home of mostly Brahmin and Chettri.
After breakfast, our next trek will be to Khani Gaun. Chanute-Khani Gaun is about a 5-6 hour walk. The walk is a little more challenging. We have to follow the uphill steps. But we can have a great walk along the way as we can see the spectacular village and the streams. Khani Gaun is a Newar village and it is believed that during the war between Gorkha and Bhaktapur, natives of Bhaktapur came here to save their life.
We visit Khani gaun to explore around, meet the local peoples and experience their local life patterns.
Later breakfast, we continue our ramble uphill steeps through rhododendron woodland. It is a great chance to capture the scenery of the rhododendron forest including beautiful birds and wild animals.
Trek today is quiet difficult as we need to ascend for some hours however as you will have a great view of rhododendron and pine forest, makes your journey more pleasant. Additionally, walk a few more hours to reach Pati. Pati is a little shelter for pilgrimage tourists from here, you will have an excellent Mountains view.
Bhairav Kund is a religious valued place. Many people from different parts of Nepal visit this place to take a holy bath mainly during June/July. August’s full moon period is the best time to visit Bhairavkunda Lake. The pilgrims also pay their worship to the Bhairav (the destructive form of lord Shiva) in the temple found nearby the lake.
Start journey little early so that tourist can have the exciting view of sunrise from Bhairav Kund top. We also can get the sight of shining mountains and mountain ranges namely Langtang, Jugal Himal Range, Rolwalling Range, and the Tibetan Range.
Today is the closing date of our trekking. Our journey goes through the back of the Bhote Khosi river. After reaching Larcha, we can have a hot spring bath if we walk furthermore 30 minutes, there we will have another and have hot spring bath for relaxation. Return to Larcha from the hot spring.
Early morning we take a local bus (private vehicle cost is extra) back to Kathmandu city. You can do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs for your family and relatives. Transfer to your hotel. Trip finish.
