01 Day Kathmandu to Lukla flight (2,840m). Trek to Phakding (2,610m/8,563 feet), 5 hours

The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla airport typically departs at 6:15 in the morning daily. This early departure allows us to witness the panoramic views of the scenic Himalayan range. During the high season, to avoid air traffic congestion, all flights to Lukla will be operated from Manthali airport in the Ramechap district.

The flight from Ramechhap to Lukla is considered safer and more reliable compared to a direct flight to Lukla. After breakfast at Buddha Lodge, we begin our journey to Phakding village which involves a gentle climb up across the Sherpa villages.

02 Day Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286 feet), 5 hours

On the second day of the Everest view trail, we trek to Monjo village, encountering several ascents and descents along the way. Upon arrival, we visit the Sagarmatha National Park office to check in and pay the required fees. Continuing our trek, we follow the riverbed to Dovan, where multiple rivers converge.

After crossing the Hillary Bridge, we begin a steep ascent towards Namche Bazaar. Along this route, we are treated to magnificent views of Everest (8,848m) and Lhotse (8,516m). 03 DayTrek to Khumjung village (3,780m/12,402 feet) via Sengboche hill, 3 hours

We begin our day with a challenging one-hour climb to Sengboche airport (3,720m), followed by a gradual ascent towards Khunde. Along the way, we pass numerous chortens (stone Buddhist monuments) and a hill station. From the hill station, we are rewarded with breathtaking views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawche, Kongde, and other mountains surrounding us.

The trail from Namche Bazaar to Thame Monastery is well-established and generally in good condition. It offers a scenic and relatively moderate trekking experience, with some uphill and downhill sections.

05 DayHike to Thengpo / Thyangbo (4,370m/14,337 feet), 6 hours

06 DayThame to Kongde hill (4,250m/13,944 feet), 7 hours

Today, we walk from Thame to Kongde Lodge offers stunning views and a challenging yet rewarding experience. From Thame, you’ll start with a gradual ascent towards the west, following the Bhote Koshi River. The trail passes through rugged terrain, with occasional steep sections and rocky paths.

As you trek further, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, including views of Kongde Peak and other Himalayan giants. In terms of altitude and terrain, it’s essential to pace yourself and acclimatize properly.

We trek back to Lukla bazaar using the same mountain trail we took on the ascent, marking the final day. Upon reaching Lukla Lodge, we freshen up and have the opportunity to explore the bustling markets of Lukla.

Our guide from Gokyo Agency will reconfirm the return flight to Kathmandu for the next morning. In the evening, guests can treat their hiking crew to a special dinner as a token of appreciation for their support throughout the trek.

10 DayReturn Mountain flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Trip finish.

We take an early morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, we will transfer to the office. In the afternoon, you can either go shopping or request a guided tour of Kathmandu at an additional cost. This marks the end of the trip.

If this happens then you will be boarded on the flight tomorrow and you have to spend an extra night at Lukla Airport (if you are returning to Kathmandu) at Ktm (if you are going to Lukla). A helicopter rescue flight is possible to use depending on the weather. So, we recommend you allocate a couple of extra days after your Everest trek so that you will not miss your international flight back.

Question: What are the alternatives to flying from Kathmandu to Lukla?

Answer: The best-recommended way to go for any Everest trek is to board a Kathmandu-Lukla 33 minutes scenic mountain flight. Another available option is to drive from Kathmandu to Phaplu (a 10/11 hour drive) and trek for 2 days to reach Lukla. In the present day, there is also a regular jeep service from Kathmandu to Salleri.

Answer: There are almost all places stay hotels and shops where you can able to buy mineral water and you can buy it for drinking but however we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles, as currently there are no provisions for disposing of these. Instead, we advise you to purchase either boiled water or bring aqua tablets to purify the normal water as the normal water is available at the campsite/along the way in the camping trekking.

Question: Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on the Everest panorama journey?

Answer: At Yeti Trail Trekking, visitors can recharge the battery at guest houses. We recommend you bring an extra pair in case.

Question: Are there any communication facilities on the Panorama Everest journey?.

Answer: In Panorama Everest journeys, you can get telephone services as well as 4G internet services. Thus, we advise you to buy a local SIM card or Everest link card to get better wireless WIFI.

Question: When should I book my trip and what are the payment terms?
