Hike to Royal Syaglung Danda is a classical trek with 4 days itinerary compared to most walks in Annapurna foothills territory. 1 Day Arrival day in Kathmandu valley.Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, we pick you up with a private vehicle and drop you at your hotel. Our representative will brief you about Royal Syaglung Danda Trek information programs.
In the morning, a guide will come to meet you in your hotel. Drive to TIA airport to fly to Pokhara city. Flight offers you an excellent view of the Himalayas including Mt.Langtang, Mt.Ganesh Himal, Mt.Manasalu, Mt.Lamjung, and Mt.Annapurna. Pokhara is a beautiful town, get your way to Annapurna peaks. We drive to Bijaypur Khola and trek ascends to Kalikastan through the terraced cultivated fields of Kandane.

The royal trek is steep but the background vista is incredible, vast stretches of flat farmland cover the river valley. Taking a short rest at the scenic village of Archale, we continue our journey to Kalikastan. As Kalikastan is located on the hilltop, it offers a grand view of Annapurna mountains including Machhapuchhre (fishtail).
Trek began through a dense forest on the right. On the way, the path takes an undulating descent to the village of Ozangaun. Then steeply descend to the village of Lipyani, again we start ascending the typical stone steps to Syaglung danda (some people pounce as a Syaklung danda) through an enchanting rhododendron forest. The trail is very peaceful and you can hear the sound of your own footsteps. After a tough climb, we eventually enter the village of Syaglung, a typical Gurung inhabitant. Syaglung danda offers a glimpse of the entire Lumjung Himal.
We retrace our trek and descend to Lipyani. The path is steep, descending with stone steps through Doban Khola. Cross the wooden bridge and walk uphill through a forest to Lapsi danda. We make a short descent downhill to Begnas lake. We stop for lunch and take a private taxi we drive further to the Fewa lakeside in Pokhara. Stay overnight in a hotel.
Morning we’ll drive back through the scenic countryside and during the route will stop for breakfast & lunch. It takes 7 hours back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu, rest or explore the surrounding areas for last minute shopping in thamel. In the evening, drop you at Kathmandu International Airport for your return flight out to your home.

Answer: When walking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to gradient, terrain, and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however, you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.

Answer: It is better to hike with walking poles. Learn how to use trekking poles for balance and stability, whether on the sidewalk or on trails. Trekking poles can help prevent slips and falls. They are just recommended but not compulsory.
Question: How much additional money do I need per day?
Answer: You can allocate US$ 08 – 10 for a lunch/dinner in Kathmandu and it depends on your spending habits. US$ 7 to 10 US$ each day will be enough to buy bottles of water, chocolates, tea coffee, and some drinks while you are on your trek.
