Overview

The EBC trek is equally popular as Base Camp Everest trekking in Nepal. Hike the ebc is a spectacular high-altitude trek in the mountains of the Khumbu Himalayas. Get ready for incredible scenery and a unique cultural experience exploring the challenging trekking routes around the highest mountain in the world.

The journey to EBC is an epic trip that is the most demanding route that conducts landing at Lukla airport. Planning to visit the base camp is an outstanding tour touching the tallest peaks with the coldest glaciers.

The EBC trek difficulty level is a moderate adventure. The normal ebc hike require two weeks to cover high mountains, landscapes, isolated villages, and Buddhist monasteries. Even though the EBC tours require no prior trekking expertise, it is suggested that the trekker should be determined and be physically healthy.

Journey at Everest mountain goes inside the depth of Sagarmatha national park. The Sagarmatha Park side is under the UNESCO world heritage site in Nepal. A pure ebc adventure hike takes you to the foothills of Mount Everest and more which are the world’s 8,000-meter mountains. They are Mount Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Makalu.

ebc hike altitude meter Gokyo treks

Hike the ebc tour is an exciting adventure and has either one of two base camps on either side of Mount Everest. South Base Camp is located in Nepal at an altitude of 5,364m and North Base Camp is at 5,5150m in Tibet. These camps are primarily used by mountaineers to ascend and descend the World’s highest mountain.

However, ebc trek route is suitable for all ages tourists. A child over 5 years is also okay to go by except in the winter months. The winter trail to ebc is frozen and sleepy, clear climate all day but only the bravest travelers can hike. The moraine and the crevasse are covered with fresh snow and often trail became dangerous at the base camp. But, in December month especially Christmas and New Year is fine to explore the base camp as the weather gets okay. Trekking in late January until the end of February, the weather is not clear, and cloudy, and snowstorms so not very good to hike. The weather is extremely cold and the hiking route is frozen and the chances of affects altitude mountain sickness highly.

Nepal EBC trek 10 days notice!

The ebc hike information stated above is just a sample guideline for national and international visitors. EBC trek package for Nepali is low-cost comparing foreign nationals because of Lukla airfare and hiking permits. Despite that, the daily travel plan is possible to modify at your request to accommodate your specific needs.

Local politics, landslides, cancellation of domestic flights, weather, transport, or a multitude of other factors that are beyond our control can result in a change of itinerary along the trip.

For a solo traveler, a twin-sharing double bedroom may not always be available as it depends upon the group members you travel to. If you have picked a twin share room while on trip booking, and if that option is not available, you should take a private room at extra cost. Or our guide can try his best to manage a private room without an extra cost if not possible. If a private room for solo travelers is not available, you should share your room with other tourists.

It is, although, very incredible that the itinerary would be widely altered. If alterations are essential the leader will decide the best alternative option, taking into consideration the best interests of the whole hiking team. When a change does occur, we do everything we can to minimize its effect, but we cannot be responsible for the results of changes or delays.
